This thread does move fast, doesn't it? I'm having a much better day.

Can I just ask about HEA cheeses? I would like some Stilton cheese but I don't know whether it is available as a HEA. If not I'll have some and syn it I guess.

B: Omlette, slice WMbread form 400g loaf
L: HM minestrone soup (free), cheese (HEA) slice WM bread from 400g loaf
    D: Chicken and ham salad.
    Snacks: Fruit,
I'm counting milk in coffee at 1 syn per cup (I don't take too much).

So I think that makes this a EE day.

Stilton is 5 syns for 25g so I can't see why you shouldn't have 30g as Jock says as HEA (it would be 6 syns then!).

Its a free food but its not speed or superspeed or whatever its being called now.

Baby corn is free the type you get in the stir fry packs.

I eat sweetcorn all the time and its never done me any harm. If you like it keep eating it but get some more speed foods on your plate.

    Afternoon :)

Thanks in advance for the chart Shala - I saw mention of it in someone's post and had a feeling it had already been posted but then couldn't find it.

The BNS confusion made me laugh - it's an acronym I use frequently, but it's obviously not that well known. My DH can never remember the name of it and usually ends up with 'you know, the peanut thingy...'!

I don't think Stilton is officially a HEa but I count it as one, using the same logic as Jocko. If Danish Blue is ok, then why not Stilton. I love Stilton but you can't buy it here. :(

Re the advert for Hello Fresh, it doesn't sound very money saving when you can look up a recipe and buy your ingredients on line for much less! :money:

    Back later.

    LL :)

ETA - the programme sounds interesting Beanie - I think I'm part emotional eater and part craver. Definitely not a feaster, I can't eat large amounts in one sitting.

Thanks everyone for the cheese answers. Well, I think I shall count it as my HEA then, and just syn my milk instead of the other way round. It ends up pretty much the same anyway!!

I guess that's one thing when you don't go to class - you are 'allowed' to tweak things a little.

I'm still tracking stuff in myfitnesspal, mainly out of interest actually, and it does make you realise how many calories are in the synned foods, although there are some funny ones (the mackerel being one). I don't mind sometimes (for example using syns for olive oil in a dressing instead of the low fat ones that would be free on SW),
    Trying to keep in budget.

Did a shop this morning and stocked up on Quark, Cottage Cheese, fruit, veg, chicken, bacon, pasta etc.

Quark was 90p in Tesco but £1.25 in Morrisons. Obviously bought the Tesco one and it was really nice with options mixed in.

No it's not right!! You can have any HEXs from the new lists. I'm saying new because it doesn't count the things you can have on Red like a potato. So the full lists for EE.

You really shouldn't be feeling hungry on any of the programmes shortie. Yesterday you really didn't have much food until your dinner in the evening. I understand you made a big pot of chilli but personally I'd have frozen a couple of portions and then had something else.

I was hungry yesterday evening (we'd eaten early in the pub) so I made myself a slice of ham, 2 fried eggs and pickled onions. Not brilliantly balanced but it would have been OK on a SP day. I keep plenty of pickles in so I can always snack on beetroot or onions or cornichons. I'm not a huge fruit fan so I prefer the pickles and cold meats. Or make up a big veg frittata/crustless quiche and have that in the fridge for snacking on. Some people hard boil eggs and keep them at the ready.

EESP is so new, we're still thinking of suitable menus and snacks.:)

I'm out for lunch tomorrow so that'll be an off plan meal. One plus is that I don't generally feel hungry after that so although I may eat the wrong food I don't eat that much in a day. It'll be a SW breakfast.;)

Thanks maman that suddenly felt really restrictive otherwise. I texted my consultant today to check and she said I can eat any HEBs (agreed it needs to be from the new book) but to really boost weight loss it should be either S or P HEB choices. S*d that, lol!

Agreed I should have eaten more during the day to stop the hunger :o

So today didn't go according to plan and unless I was going to eat rubbish I ended up rushing arpund and not eating for huge chunks of the day and feeling hungry again:

    B: apple
    L: cereal and milk
D: about to eat a roast dinner - chicken, carrots (boiled and roasted), broccoli and then synning a yorkshire pud and some stuffing. Will avoid potatos.

Snacks: probably cereal and milk again. Satsuma and apple

Not a very balanced day but best I could manage after the day's plans went totally awry and I was out more than expected

I might have a normal EE day tomorrow
