Morning (just) everyone
Some amazing losses and lots of good ones on here so well done to everyone :T
Hopefully I will be able to post a loss after WI tonight. Fingers crossed!
I spent all day yesterday in my pjsToday however I have had to leave the house - I wouldn't dream of going outside in them!
From tomorrow we will have birthday cake in the house (my little girl is 3). I am hoping that my mum really did make a very small one as requested.:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

This thread does move fast, doesn't it? I'm having a much better day.
Can I just ask about HEA cheeses? I would like some Stilton cheese but I don't know whether it is available as a HEA. If not I'll have some and syn it I guess.
B: Omlette, slice WMbread form 400g loaf
L: HM minestrone soup (free), cheese (HEA) slice WM bread from 400g loafChicken and ham salad.
Snacks: Fruit,
I'm counting milk in coffee at 1 syn per cup (I don't take too much).
So I think that makes this a EE day.Trying to keep in budget.

Gien, I've been trying to get online but the SW site won't let me in right now. Stilton isn't an HEA in the book.:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Hello everyone and thanks for this thread.
Can anyone help me understand why fresh and smoked salmon is a free food, but only fresh mackerel is free, while smoked has syns?
How many syns are there in Celebrations by the way? I've just eaten two! :O
Thanks
JoIf you have nothing constructive to say just move along.0 -
Hi All.
It's weigh in time for me tonight. I've been good all week but for some reason I still feel nervous.
Here's my food for the day:
Breakfast - Banana, sharon fruit, grapes
Lunch - Butternut squash and sweet potato soup with a ham salad sandwich (HEB)
Dinner - Mexican style chicken and black bean stew topped with crumbled feta (HEA) with toasted tortilla triangles (9 syns) followed by a fat free yogurt
Snacks: Graze peanut butter with pretzel sticks (6.5 syns), apple
15.5 syns in total, but I can live with that.0 -
Just had an omelette for lunch. Haven't had one in ages, forgotten how filling they are. Hopefully gives me lots off energy for the gym.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I really need to get myself organised and sorted so that I can eat more filling foods throughout the day, a lighter dinner and stop the grazing at night. Especially when I'm at the gym a lot. Just had my first green tea of 2015 - it really is shocking how bad I have gotten, need to pick up all my good habits again quickly and drop the bad ones.
Anyway today is going to plan so I will quit yapping whilst I am ahead.
Going to make some spicy bean soup tonight - hope it doesn't give me wind issues or there will be gale force winds inside the house as well as outside! :T Might shred and throw in a few Brussels for good measure!0 -

Welcome! The salmon vs mackerel might be one of the vagueries of SW. The only logical thing I could think of (veggie here so no real idea) is if the smoked mackerel ends up drier so maybe it has less fill factor?
I think the choccies are 2/3 syns each.:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Can't see stilton gien. 35g of Danish Blue is allowed if that helps. Just thought though you were probably referring to white stilton - sorry.
Has gone really dark here and we have a bit of a blizzard thing going on

Don't see why you couldn't have Stilton, I'd count it as 30g myself the same as cheddar or parmesan or any other hardish cheese.
As for the smoked fish debate, you cannot really apply any logic to SW and how it categories things. Why is fresh pasta worse than dried? Why are 12 raspberries and a banana free unless you blend them? Why is frozen sweetcorn ok but canned not?0 -
Canned sweetcorn is not ok???
Maybe that explains my lack of weightloss!0
