Really really fancy a glass of wine tonight. Its that moment after I've put the boys to bed and the house is silent, I associate it with wine o'Clock. Going to have a mocha instead.Overdraft: [STRIKE]£529[/STRIKE] £199 BC: [STRIKE]£697.82[/STRIKE] £1974.02 MBNA: [STRIKE]£1874[/STRIKE] £517.00

Dont worry about it.
Just get back on the wagon tomorrow.0 -
Thanks purple shoes. Yes, I am getting back on the wagon again.
Wish I hadn't drank last night. But I am not drinking until at least February now.0 -
Aww can't believe you both fell off
Try to ignore it and jump back on for the rest of the month...

Thanks hazyjo.
Yes I have jumped straight back on again and still aiming to only drink once a month, or on social/special occasions.0 -

I know I fell off the wagon on Monday and had two glasses of wine, but I'm actually quite proud of myself that that is all I have had. Haven't drank since.
Usually, I try giving up and then break it, and then I think, oh well, I've broken it now, might as well carry on. But not this time. Okay I might drink this weekend, but if I do, then it's still a heck of a lot less than I was drinking last year.
Just need to find the happy medium and not go mad. Think I've done quite well this week!Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

Its gone a little quiet on here last few days.
I read that today is the day most people will give in to their craving for alcohol while doing dry Jan and fall off the wagon.
Im a little smug that I have been out to a smart chinese resraurant and had a bottle of perrier instead of wine.
The rest of the month looks doable as no more social occasions to contend with and I am not craving wine.
Not saying I wouldnt enjoy one if I had it but dont feel the desperate yearning for one.Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -
Managed to stay dry yesterday - the nation's big temptation day despite a funeral and gsghering afterwards so reckon my resilience to temptation is greater thsn I thought. I did dry January last year and fell off the wagon sround the 27th but don,t seem to be missing the slcohol so much this year. Plenty of chilled fizzy water with lemon or lime seems to be quelling my appetite for alcohol although I suppose it's still relatively early days.
Actually i think with all the water I'm drinking I'm probably better hydrated than I normally am which is undoubtedly good for my kidneys and liver0 -
No alcohol for me although I've definitely been drinking too much tea...0
