  • Seems like quite a compromise having an RX-8

That's the advantage of an imaginary M3. It can be a hatch-saloon-estate-convertible-van-3dr-5dr-4wd-petrol-diesel-pickup-minibus.

Available in any colour and specification you like. With no bills.

Mind you he's only got a 6 grand budget.

It'll be high mileage and will need regular oil changes.

Good plan jaydeeuk1 - Yes you can get one with a bad engine so cheap that you can spend a few grand and have an excellent sports car for under £5K, with an engine that you now know is good, and you can look after properly.
I just wouldn't bother hunting high and low for one without rust round the rear light - such a small niggle, seems common, and easily fixed.

Ever tried driving a Ferrari round a multi storey car park or onto a ferry?! I hear Toyota Corrollas are nice cars. What are you comparing it to?
