That’s a lovely picture of Ceske Krumlov – just how I remember it.

Lyn - so sorry that you and HWK have had to say goodbye to Docky - he really was a lucky boy to have such loving and caring owners. Huge hugs xSmall victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0

Oh Lyn, so sorry to hear that Docky has gone to his rest. Take care of yourselves at this sad time.

Hugs Lynn, he was the luckiest boy. A true friend that you will miss forever.
VJsMum, those photos are fab, really enjoyed looking at them.
Your kitchen looks fantastic fuddle.
My greenhouse took a bashing in the storms earlier this week, I have tried to rescue the tomato plants but not sure they are going to survive. Had some spinach from the garden with dinner, I do love spinach and it was so much better from being home grown - my first garden success!
Having problems with the site, I thank everyone and then when I go back the thanks box is still there, very strange!0 -
Good evening everyone I'm like a bad penny, and turn up all the time
I have just got back from DDs where I have been since Tuesday afternoon.I have been looked after brilliantly by my DD,son-in-law and three DGS bless them. They didn't want me to come home tonight, but I wanted to have a couple of days just pottering around. The op. went well although it turned out longer than expected so I was in hospital a bit longer, plus I'm not very good with anaesthesia, so felt quite poorly for a few days.Still feeling like I have been run over by a ten-ton truck and can't bend or lift very much at all,but apart from that I have a matching pair of bosoms after 8 long years
:):)
I have an outpatients appointment on Monday, and I'm hoping they will take the stitches out then. Until then its just rest and relax and do nothing which is driving me loopy .I have lots of books to read though, which will help.I can't knit at the moment, and walking far is a problem. No driving for 6 weeks at least Grrr that will stop my gallop a bit.
My DGS Ben is home from Uni next week and I'm really looking forward to seeing him.The two younger lads had birthdays this week and they have been so good, and very gentle with thier old Grandma.Henry is a strapping great 14 year old now but makes the best cuppa in Kent bless him.
DD has been terrific bless her and phones every couple of hours to make sure I'm behaving myself and not doing anything in her houseHard when I am used to helping her out with food prep or stacking the dishwasher (I can't even do that at the moment because of bending) Still its not forever and luckily before I went in to hospital I made lots of ready-type meals which went into the freezer so I have no cooking to do.
DD threatens to return me to the hospital if I do any washing etc !!!.But tonight I shall sleep in my own bed once more and she's even made a flask of coffee up and put it by my bed for during the night.I am so lucky to have my amazing family and feel very loved and blessed with them all.
I have missed having a natter on here though and it will take me a day or so to catch up with all the goings on.
Love to you all
