Had quite a productive morning so far, finished all ironing, drying one load on airer (no rush and fire will be lit later) last load in wm. taken decs down in kitchen and cleaned. Puffed cushions in lounge, cleaned and tidied bathroom, however will need doing again as DS1 is having a shower, before going wall climbing, where he will get all sweaty and need another one!! Still better than a smelly child I suppose!
Off for weekly weigh in at my friends on way to wall climbing, then after taking down decs in playroom, and taking DS2 new speaker up to his room, then off to deposit boys at my mum's for the night, and it's date night with the hubby.
Have a glorious day everyoneLoving life to the full, just need purse full too

Hi all, everyone else asleep and I am tiptoeing around as there are three teenagers asleep on my living room floor. One load of washing out although it's supposed to rain for a while. Want to get the tree down when I can get in the living room.
Going to get dressed and put stew in the slow cooker to start with.0 -

Dozed till9 while the kiddies played around me :T feel rather groggy now haha.
Just having a brew then might make some eggs.
Today I need to do FIL cake, and we will wander to the shop I'm going to get the paper with the sl!mming world supplement in.
Also want to check on paid stuff, may be able to get a head start on Monday <sob> really don't want to go back to workand will get kiddies doing some spelling practice too.
Hair turned out ok last night although I was a bit concerned as it looked so purple until I rinsed. Probably has more red tones than I'm used to but the greys are gone :T and it's not looking artificial. LolBossymoo

Me again....I took the dogs for a lovely long walk then kept my coat on and got straight out in the garden. Made a frame (which I broke putting away, doh) and started digging my new plot...and then it started pouring with rain. So I've come indoors, put the washing on the airer, am just having a cuppa (with an apple - go me) and will soon make a start on making those new cushion covers.
Item decluttered today is an old curtain pole.
Catch you all later.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
 Morning all
:hello: Lovely to see you posting, Bonnie - you have been missed!
Eating vibes for Mischief
Flare-be-gone vibes for LW
I have done very little this week apart from dailies and hospital visiting, but yesterday morning I looked after DGD1+2 while DS1 and DH cut down completely an already many-times-shortened conifer just outside our back fence :T DS also put up my drying rack in the utility, so that I now have somewhere to hang up things that I put on hangers as soon as I get them out of the WM or TD, rather than trying to cram 6 hangers on a door handle :T
We have decided to take down the decs today even though it's not yet Twelfth Night - I am not feeling Christmassy any more, and now that the DGDs have enjoyed them, they have served their purpose for this season.
I sat and read for most of yesterday - an autobiography recommended by a friend, which is me to a T. From it I have learnt a lot about myself - it puts into words my feelings that I could not express properly, IYSWIM.
So, like Frizzle, I am sticking to a short list for today:
- check diaries with DH
- make soup (already prepped)
- remove and pack away decorations
- sort cards and letters
- cut gift tags
- declutter the linen cupboard
- go shopping with DH this afternoon if the rain stops (apples, bits and pieces of stationery, printer cartridges and perhaps a pair of trousers for me and a rugby shirt for him - no point in getting wet today when nothing is required urgently)
- evening meal will be just reheated leftovers + lentils and rice :money:
- hospital visiting this evening.
My friend is still very weak and unable to eat without the anti-sickness drugs which they are pumping into her, and is being nursed in bed, but yesterday the physios got her to stand out for about 3 minutes. She has a lot of back pain, so doesn't want to be left sitting in a chair. There is no talk of her being discharged yet, which is a relief to me: I don't know how she could possibly cope at home, even if her son agreed to let carers come in.
:coffee: calls - anyone care to join me?
Hope everyone who has to go back to work on Monday enjoys the weekend x0 -
Morning lovelies :hello:
Been productive this morning, weekly food shop done, petrol got, next sale pick up retrieved, maccy dees brekkie for moi purchased, shopping lugged in, stuff put away, flowers arranged in vase, and im about to tidy the LR, and sort the kitchen out, but still looking good here. I NEED to do the ironing before I need to hire a team of Sherpas
The new year is already looking up job wise, ive acquired 1 new house and 1 in the offing :j via my lovely Friday customer, shes a doctor and says she has tons of contacts, I might be snowed under with customersI can only hope
Right, tidy up time. Xx0 -
Morning All
Not done a lot this morning apart from some washing. Pantomine this afternoon so will probably not get a lot more done today. I'm still trying to get rid of this cough and cold - it is a bit better but a bit of energy wouldn't go amiss!
Have a good day all
Hugs

Morning all .... a very slow, lazy start to the weekend happening here.
It's pouring with rain, so very little inclination on venturing out of the house either.
I want to get a fair amount done whilst DH and DD are around today, so here goes:
Personal Extra / Extras
Change DD's bedlinen (she's stripped it this morning).
Get DH to put up a pin for DD’s calendar in her room
Fold the laundry which is looking more like the Alps than ever on the spare bed, and put away the non-ironing
Put away Christmas decos
Take extra leaf out of dining room table, replace cloth with everyday one, rather than Christmas one.
Recycle Christmas cards
Make soup with leftover gammon from Boxing day
Clean living room
Empty utility room, ready to be deep cleaned
Declutter 6 items
