Seem to have been busy all day but dont seem to have achieved very much as been sorting and flinging in our bedroom. I started by flinging underwear as I had bought some new in the last few days, putting on several pounds over the last few months meant that a lot no longer fitted, there must have been at least 25 sets flung. I then went through the sock drawer and flung loads that I havent worn or were getting a bit ratty, so must be over a 100 pieces gone. Then to the clothes rails (never had a proper wardrobe built but that will change as we had major collapse during my sort so stuff now laid on the daybed in our room so thats a job to start tomorrow for DH now). Loads sorted which have either not been worn in the last 18 months or some never. These will go to a local shop for a cat charity which one of my lovely friends supports as they desperately need help raising funds to help cover the costs of looking after the 150 cats they are trying to find homes for.

Thanks for vibes - Mischief is eating! Very little but, as he ate nothing yesterday, it's progress.

I like the idea of getting rid of 2015 things for 2015. I have 2 boxes ready to go to the charity shop in the morning so I'll have a quick count of them - should be a good start though.

Monday - children's rooms, spare rooms or any bedroom

Tidy up and find a home for all those things sitting about
    Hoover
    Wipe the window ledges

    New Year's Eve - Kitchen
Wipe the work surfaces and put away everything that shouldn't be there
    Hoover floor

Hoover any areas in dire need

It has been lovely to hear all the bird stories over the last couple of days and although we dont have a large garden and are close to the town I would love to have a bird table to encourage some wildlife in.

I hope DH is improving now he is home Narcolepsy.
Honey Bear - we all want you to break you resolution, love your posts
Kaz2904 - I have suffered with anaemia for years so know how you feel, is it worth you getting your self a blood test to check it out.
Nice to see you back Serena
Juliejim - hope DD has had a great birthday and good luck with the teen years :D
Pigpen - How are you managing with DD and family back? How long before they can get boiler fixed, its horrible and you dont realise how you take heating and hot water for granted until you dont have it. We had this about a week before Christmas when the fan had gone which is apparently quite common after a service!!! Which is wha we had just had as the fans dont seem to get put back properly

Re the talk of babies being over, I must be abnormal as not bothered by it at all, colleague at work currently maternity leave brought her little babe to our ladies lunch on Monday and I really would rather avoid them than be like my friend who cuddled him until he was sick all down her back :rotfl:
    Frizzle - Fling that cold
Mummysroy - I feel for you with the loft room, we still havent got ours finished after 10 years due to problems with our builder
xx_Jo_xx - nice to see you back
Dusty - dont envy you the shoe shopping, so glad I'm past all of that now as both of mine had quite narrow feet so were difficult to find what they wanted
Froddington - healing vibes for Ratty
LameWolf - Hope your migraine is much improved

Not done too much on list today, but being given half hour notice that friends were calling round after we'd just been on hour and half walk, was really pleased that it only took me a couple of minutes to pick few items up and my house was ready for visitors, before this thread i'd had been running round like a lunatic!!

Thank you so much flyladies for all your motivation and support, already after just a short time it has become invaluable and made a big impact on our life. Even kids and hubby are starting to clean up after themselves sometimes :)

Yes - that's lovely. I saw it a few weeks ago - so moving !

I have done most of the stuff for this week and all I have left to do now is :-

    Today

Strip, turn and remake our bed
3 x washing and drying and all stuff that doesn't need ironing :T
    Cook chicken casserole
    Small essential shopping trip

    Saturday

    Take down all the cards
    Totally clean living room
Do meal plan for next week
    Butcher shop

I have decided two things for this year so far :-

I'm motivated to do 365 'good deeds' - preferably anon
I am going to thoroughly 'do' one drawer/cupboard/box/file a week

Hugs, sticks and spoons to all as needed

Hope you all have a super Saturday

    Hi All

No flying done here for the last couple of days, not even a prepare for take off

I went to bed at 11 on New Years Day and got up at 6 this morning, between alternate ends visiting the bathroom. My stomach feels like it has been punched and my throat is sore, but otherwise I feel miles better and do actually want something to eat.

Going to persuade DH that we take the decs down today so we have a clear house tomorrow, our decs are in the kitchen, hall, lounge, outside lights. Some might think tacky but I think tasteful bling especially as we are the first house you see in our cul de sac so we welcome all comers with bright lights.

Also need to tax the car but can't find the reminder and panicking as already three days late.

    Have a good day all

Morning all. Hope you feel better soon Gilly.

Kazmeister - I had a great day out with DD yesterday. We both got our hair cut, browsed the shops and had lunch at a little independent Italian place - lovely. Came back to my house, dyed her roots and chilled out for a little while. There is hope for everyone wanting this with their DD. Mine could be the child from hell, she has a vicious quick temper (thankfully now she has met BF she is just so calm nearly all the time!). I remember the times she threw juice over me and started punching me while I was driving the car, not nice. I will be seeing her again today as DH and I are going to her house, he hasn't seen it yet.

Today until about 3pm is my own. I'm just having breakfast, washing is in the machine. I'm going to do a quick hoover round downstairs and then take the dogs for a long walk. I may then get out in the garden and start planning my new plot.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Good morning all

Having a lazy start to the day as everybody else is still asleep, mogs and kittens fed, one mog is interacting quite well with the gingers.

In bird news I had a gold finch in the garden yesterday, still no birds have visited the new feeder to my knowledge, tempted to try it in another location.

Kaz, Bonnie and Pollybear lovely to see you all posting.

Going to start the day with a frog, then shower, iron a couple of bits and clean bathrooms.

Shoes - DS3 has decided he does not like yesterday's shoes (knew that would happen) so hoping he likes the ones I pick up later.

Need to take some unwanted sale stuff back to JL and return a library book when I go out.

Froddy glad your rattie is improving.
