    Sydon: double mattress

    Handwash: Dusters
    Hammer: Holes in tomato tins
    Fill: Tomato tins with compost
    Put: In greenhouse thing
    Bake: Pizza dough, cheesy bread sticks and grissini
    Tetris: the freezer again
    Stockcheck: the freezer again
    Find: pastry lump
    Defrost: Pastry lump
    Make: Superking bed
    Scrub: shower
    S&S: loos, sinks and bath
    That should just about do it and do for me.
    Better is good enough.

    [STRIKE]collect anything in lounge that can be put away[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]Mr N wants to help go through a pile of paperwork in the kitchen[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]go to horse feed shop and stock up on horse feed and more bird food[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]another student essay to mark[/STRIKE]
    - report to write started it
    - [STRIKE]still need to put away 3 things in office. I won't push myself by saying more than 3.[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]find 1 item to declutter to set the ball rolling[/STRIKE]threw away 4 small cardboard boxes - all of which had been saved in case they were useful. Decided they aren't.
    Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

    I just chop the veg, grate some black pepper over and a squirt of flora (I use the liquid one) then put in the oven until soft. Then put into a saucepan, mash with the blender and add water to the required consistency. Sometimes I add a stock cube or some herbs. In Mr N's current condition I put dried milk powder in to make it richer. Simples.
    Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

    Have had a nice day out for DSs birthday. Got a bit cross with OH and DD1 in the supermarket though. Money is tight this month and they were putting all sorts of c*ap in the basket. Spent £40 and we only really needed a few bits and pieces.

    Going to sort out bedding and airbeds in a minute for DSs friends then off to bed.

    Hope this comes out ok.....

    Ingredients
    Serves: 8
    50g butter
    1 large onion
    1L hot vegetable stock
    300g sliced cooked carrots
    300g sliced cooked parsnip
    1 tablespoon marjoram, parsley and thyme im not putting this in as we don't have any!
    salt and pepper to taste

    Method
    Prep:30min › Cook:1hr › Ready in:1hr30min
    Melt butter in a pan on a medium eat. When the butter is completely melted add the onions and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
    Add the vegetable stock, carrots and parsnips and bring to the boil.
    Using a hand held food blender blend ingredients together.
    Bring to boil again and add salt, pepper and herbs. Mix well and allow to simmer for an hour topping up occasionally with water.
