Well not a lot done today - out for dinner with DB, partner & son, DD, DS and DH for DD's birthday tomorrow, then called at Mr As on the way back as she wanted spag bol for tea and I hadn't got any mince plus she wanted to get her birthday cake. Cake cost me £16 instead of £10 as they hadn't got the small size in so had to have the large one - she wanted one with her picture on - she'll be a teenager tomorrow. Then come home and put some clothes away and had a little nap. DD's friend came over and they've been to the cinema and then I've cooked tea for us all.

Tomorrow we're going out for breakfast as DD's friend couldn't come over earlier today to come out to lunch with us and she's sleeping over tonight. Then they're shopping, my car's going to the garage for an oil change and DH is going to the gym. Later on we're going over to my auntie's for a party so we'll drop DD's friend off on the way.

Saturday afternoon we're going to the pantomine and then Monday I'm back at work!

Not a lot of time left to do much then.

It's been a busy day. Jobs were just about done Before he family descended on us. But after they had all left, it was back to being a pit again.
Since they have left, the dw has been on three times, I have wudupa, cleared and cleaned the kitchen sides, sorted the table, removing the extra one from the garage and all the extra chairs and decluttered the living room.

I can't wait to take the decs down now. Took the cards down tonight and will hopefully do the decs tomorrow. Although we might do something's with the kids and then it will be Saturday morning!

Hope everyone else had a lovely day x x

    Morning everyone

Well that's it all over for another year.

Just had a quiet day yesterday. Pottered and spoke to me DB and SIL. Caught up with Tv I had recorded.

It's very windy here this morning. Hope the bird feeder is ok. I am regularly seeing a robin on it but not any other birds yet. I did get some suet and sunflower hearts and put those out.

Back at my voluntary job today. I heard A&E has been horrendous. I'm in there this morning. Will have a bit S&S around before I go. Need to put the bin out too. Hope someone pushes it into the yard for me and it doesn't blow away.

Hugs, spoons and sticks where needed.

    Morning all..
Hope everyone's as well as they can be. Hugs positive vibes sticks and spoons where needed.
Pigpen hope your dd gets the boiler fixed soon so you get a bit of normal resumed.
Bin day here for first time in 2weeks (we live in an area that still has weekly collections) so it feels like we've just put tons out. Still only had 3 black bags which is our weekly allowance but there were a stupid amount of recycling bags. They may need a bigger lorry.
Planning to blitz the kitchen today after yesterday's foodfest and may take hall tree down along with outside deccys. It was really windy last night and deccys were really rattling so annoyed me.

Have a good day all and enjoy what's left of the hols if you are still on them.

    Morning all

Sorry I did not do the list last night, was watching rubbish tv and fell asleep, I know why I don't watch tv, too difficult to move away. I'll do it in a moment once litter trays are dealt with.

Boddy be patient, the birds will come, it takes them a time to find the food and to trust it.

Happy Birthday to your DD JulieJim, those cakes are delicious, we had one for the cricket club in the summer but that one is quite large.

Most of my decorations are staying up until the 6th, funny the few I couldn't wait to get down I'm obviously not that keen on (maybe I shouldn't have put those up).
