Had a tidy and dust in the Hallway, stuff put away on the landing apart from the frog boxes which I shall do next after hoovering LR.

Just need to write all the cricket dates on my calendar and then that is done.

    So far today:
    - saved about £65 per year renewing my gym membership to "over 55 6.30am-5pm" which is good. I generally use it in the mornings these days so no point paying for the peak time which includes evenings.
    - input gas and electricity readings. At the beginning of Feb we will have had the solar panels a year; so far every month since then has shown lower bills than the previous year, and we've had 3 paybacks so far.
    - finished marking one essay and part way through another
    - fed birds
    - rung a few people and sent/checked emails
    - encouraged Mr N through coco pops, toast & honey, tea (fortified milk), milk shake (ditto), tiny portions of chicken/rice/mashed squash, baby yogurt and a short walk.

    Aim to finish essay part-marked
    - start to write report
    - money transfer to friend
    - review all emails I flagged for 'action needed'
    - put away 3 things in office
    - go through 1 small paper pile with Mr N to see if any can be binned
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

Was in bed by 00:25 and still couldn't get up til 12:30 :o. Been out for a walk and have a full up stinking headache so am off to bed for a bit until tea time.

I have decided that we need to eat more green stuff because I'm sure I must be anaemic. I am so tired ALL the time and could sleep 20 hours a day if I didn't have to work. I think it would help with this cold too.
I need to persuade DH to get rid of the beige food that he consistently serves up at meal times!

Decs are all down here. In boxes dotted around so not fully away - need help with that. Kiddies still in pjs  ah well.

We've had tears this afternoon, all of us, watching ET aww. Nice family cuddle time though.

Synchronised calendars with MIL last night and booked in some babysitting favours plus wrote down all their hol dates so I can manage work / school on those weeks.

Kiddies just having cereal and toast, my meal plan starts in earnest tomorrow. I have it all written up and stuck on the fridge so I can defrost accordingly. Those little b*ggers will eat what they're given this year. Tough love mode ;)

We're going to play upstairs in a bit since DD room is a tip, and we'll do some reading practice too.

No plans for tomorrow, might see if DS friend wants to come over...

    Hi all

I am another desperate for some healthy food - and it might help me to shake off this cold that I have had for weeks. Lazy day today, have spent most of the day setting up my finances on my new budgeting software.

DS2s birthday tomorrow so we are out. Then Saturday will be clearing the Christmas stuff away, getting the decs down and generally have a good clean and tidy.

Off to do a roast dinner for tea now and I think after our 3am bedtime last night it will be an early one tonight!

Failing a new year smiley, that's the best I can manage! Very quiet start to 2015 here, as DD decided it was too cold to go out, and so she, boyfriend and best friend, as well as DS1 had a takeaway, a Monopoly marathon and Scrabble session. Everyone here for roast beef followed by profiteroles for lunch.

As a result, I have done nothing resembling flying, except for chucking out a pile of out date vouchers, receipts, catalogues and leaflets that were littering the kitchen worktop.

Lovely to see so many flyladies popping back, as I did a few months back. I'm back to work from Monday, rather nervously, having been off for five months! I really want to keep in touch though, one of my resolutions I think!
