Good morning and a Happy New Year to each and everyone one of you. Hope 2015 is a good year for everyone. I love how supportive everyone is on here.

I slept until the fireworks went off and there wasn't many.

DD thoroughly enjoyed her birthday and cried because her work colleagues had bought her a present. I discovered that she would really like a silver cross. I never knew this. Hmm bit late now for her Xmas and birthday but there's next Xmas.

Froddy I was on my own too and think a few people were. Hugs.

Today I need to sort out finances but not much else. I just feel a pj day.

Hugs, spoons and sticks where needed.

    Morning all

I did manage to see the new year in but only because I was playing a game on my kindle. The kids wanted to so I left them downstairs together watching a DVD and then they wanted to sleep downstairs so DD is asleep on the settee and ds is asleep on the reclining chair.

So Happy New Year everyone - hope it's a good one and everyone enjoys it. I know I haven't been around much this year but I've been a flylady for a good few years and the support on here is second to none.

Froddy - if I'd have known you were home alone I'd have given you a ring as DH was in bed for 8pm.

Today we are going out for dinner for DD's birthday which is tomorrow and then DD has got a friend coming over later to go to the pictures and then have a sleepover.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Good morning flyladies and Happy New Year 2015. I hope it is a good one for all of you.

I too slept through midnight until the fireworks. I was woken by a particularly loud one and LittleyDog barking and barking (she is not normally bothered by them). Got up, opened the bedroom door to find the landing full of smoke. OMG I was so scared. DH ran downstairs naked to see what was burning, I went to get LittleyDog (OldDog had already found me) and her room was full of smoke too. Nothing anywhere else and it cleared quickly. Turned out it was smoke from a firework coming in through the vents. I hate fireworks. There, I've said it.

So not the start to 2015 I wanted. Stayed up till gone 1am then, watching telly and settling the dogs again.

But today, we have our family Christmas dinner, so I'd better stop boring you all on here and start getting things ready. I have to prep food and clean the table and chairs in the garden as they're coming indoors. I am excited about the meal.

Have a great day and year everyone. I love flyladies, this is the start of year 4 for me. Still have cupboards of doom though!

Jazee that must have been very frightening, I'm glad you are all ok, I hate fireworks too.

DH phoned at 1pm to moan that the tube and train stations were mobbed out - really? You never thought that would be the case. He has made it home though so that will give him something to grouch about all day.

I shall be flying today as the house needs it.

Morning all and a very happy new year to every one of the fly ladies, you are all very important to me and I really appreciate the help support and wise words that I get from this thread.
Glad to read Mr narco is home.
Hugs good wishes and the most positive vibes to all who Need them.
Got a full home today as its a rerun of Christmas dinner here, we normally give the kids new year gifts of books or DVDs but this year we are giving we owe you vouchers of something like a night out with them or a promise of baby sitting or lifts to/from somwhere. I think that will be more use and spread things out over the year.

Best wishes to you all and I'll be back on list next monday

  • Wishing every a Happy New Year.

I overslept this morning and need to be out shortly so I don't know how much I'll get done today

    I'll aim for

Hoover out smoke alarms and test
Update calendar/diary with all those important dates
    Delete some emails/favourites
S&S toilets and sinks if required
Write a list of 5 things you do that make you happy and 5 that make you sad. Ponder on how to do more of the first list and less of the latter.
