Hello everyone. HB - I'm glad you've broken your resolution already, I love your long posts.

I am sitting here at the PC as I can hardly move. Our Christmas dinner took 3 hours start to finish, was really great, but the dessert dishes can wait till the morning now.

Its raining here and very windy so the dogs didn't get a second walk today but they don't seem too bothered.

I have a girly day planned with DD tomorrow, really enjoying these since she left home. We're going to get our hair cut, browse the shops, have lunch and whatever else we feel like doing.

    Have a great evening everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.

Littlies in bed. We all needed that ;):p
We've tidied DDs bedroom, sorted her dressing up stuff (no more nails and hooks within reach on the back of her door :T) with some to give away, plus some baby books. DS wants to sort his baby things out too. So we've said tomorrow, we will sit under his bed and have a good sort.

For tonight, I think I might be done. Got plenty of sleep last night but still feel tired, although I've done lots of un-decorating. So I might browse some ideas for my spare room. It's only to paint and get a new blind, which FIL says he will put up for me.

Evening, we took down the Christmas tree and the few decorations we had around and packed them away this morning and the boxes are back up in the loft. I love putting them up but I love taking them down too. The living room has had a good dusting/polishing and vacuuming too.

Keeping up with the washing despite the variable weather. Today's load is dry and put away now.

I've written all the birthdays on the new calendar and put it up. Not thrown the old one away yet because I want to make sure I haven't missed any.

Christmas dinner finally eaten, just about to do pudding :D I also cooked the end of the 'party' food I didn't do for Christmas. So 2 hours in the kitchen and we have enough food for tomorrow as well. ;)

All the decorations are down, except the ones in DD's room, I just need to write my received card list and sort through them. Window will be cleaned on Monday ;)

Tomorrow I plan on flying through the entire house with DD's help. I want this place clean and tidy before the weekend as I have work Monday and an appointment in town on Tuesday! We both need baths and DD needs to start revising for exams starting 21st which she can't currently do as the school website/learning platform is down :(

I best go do this pudding ;)

All boxes now upstairs in spare room. Next time I'm child free I'm going to edit my loft ;)

Wild outside, here. Hope everything's secure.

Anyway, cuppa made and that's me for today. Night folks!

Oh well I made a start

    Aim to [STRIKE]finish essay part-marked[/STRIKE]
    - start to write report
    - [STRIKE]money transfer to friend[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]review all emails I flagged for 'action needed'[/STRIKE]
    - put away 3 things in office
    - go through 1 small paper pile with Mr N to see if any can be binned

Ooh, all these decorations coming down - I hate saying goodbye to Christmas and wait till the last minute. Mind you, I don't put them up early; the week before Christmas really.
