Morning all. Lets hope Bossy is still asleep!
Great news that Mr Narco is home, and hello there FizzWizz - good to 'see' you again.

I slept in for an extra hour again, but the paid stuff should be really quiet so I expect to take a look at the list. I will also be cooking my turkey today as we are having our family Christmas dinner tomorrow.

I made up some stuff for the birds yesterday but its not been touched yet - I think maybe the dogs are scaring them off.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Morning all

Well I still have a few bits to put away in my bedroom but it's almost done. We had friends round last night so DH did a bit of food but 1 of them who doesn't drink much decided that he was coming over for a drink and drank quite a bit for him quite quickly so they were gone within a couple of hours and hadn't eaten anything so that's dinner today sorted. I don't think his wife was too impressed as today is her one day off so she wouldn't have had to get up this morning as it was they were home for 9pm.

Not sure what the plan is today yet. I think we need to do some shopping as ds needs new school shoes. Tomorrow dd has a friend coming over for a sleepover then it is her birthday Friday and we've got a party at my auntie's house in the evening, then saturday we are going to the pantomime which only leaves Sunday and I need to do some paperwork at some point too.

Oh well I suppose a start would be getting out of bed.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Jacci - could your son get a GP appointment today? Please don't let him put it off - even just speaking to the GP may help.

He went to GP yesterday would you believe but mentioned a couple of little physical things but not the depression, no self esteem etc...I think I will have a chat with him and see if maybe me or hubby could go with him for support if he feels embarrassed about it, its quite heartbreaking as he was the happiest little lad.

Wm is on. My mum doesn't wash on NYE or NYD do to superstition of washing away the years luck. I haven't adopted this one.

Wish we could feed the birds. Reason we don't is that Miss Muddy paws is an expert hunter :(

Cards and some decs taken down. Window snowflakes removed as I want to clean windows again.

We need to pop to Mr Ts when temperatures rise. Ds1 wants to go to the bank in the next town. May stick him on the tram. May have to pop in to my sister's as we sent her presents via my nephew and haven't heard from her. Good opportunity to discuss not doing presents next year.

Need to check on parents too. Their road is an ice rink. We are lucky as we live on a bus route (gritting route).

Need to get dressed and collect our wheelie bin from down the road. It has been finally emptied.

Hope your ds is ok Jacci45 x
Nice to see Fizz returning x

Need to decide on new sw class as mine has closed

I boobed on the bin day - it's Friday so I shall go and get it back in shortly! And I still have space so no doubt will manage to get it chocka by then!

Put TD on and it mysteriously stopped...am wondering if the dryer balls clattering in there annoyed one of the Vallikids...so; after breakfast next job is ironing.

(Have already emptied DW and tidied kitchen, which was a pit...)
