    Morning!
Had a short lie-in while kiddies played. Cuppa now. Will get them some brekki then head for the upstairs bathrooms.

I need to fill my fatball feeder. We get visited by robins and blue tits too. Noticed last night it was almost empty. I got 50 balls in a tub for 4.99 from home bargains. Cheaper than the 6 for 99p packs. And no nets!

    Morning all

Usual morning tasks completed. Off for a shower and then to compile my food shopping list and head out. May meet some friends for a coffee whilst out. Hope to get some bits done off my list later.

JJ good luck with finishing your room.

I too don't ebay very much anymore.

Just filled the feeder and by the time I had shut the door and peeped out the window - there were 4 little birdies on it :T

Also put some suet out - thanks for the tip. I had some that needed using!

    Right - bathrooms.

  • You've all inspired me bird-wise! I do feed them sporadically - but I have put a squirrel proof seed feeder out for the last few months and none has been taken :( I think it might be in too much of an exposed position. I might move it a bit nearer the trees and see if they go for it.

Finally home :j and feeling much happier :o

Got the kids to get dressed, do homework and violin practice by 8:30 this morning, so all the horrible jobs are now out of the way:rotfl: Just compiling my lists with a coffee before I crack on, later I will be heading out into the frozen tundra / high street to get some food shopping and pay in a cheque :D
  • Morning all, seems as yesterday went so well, and having a tidy room, really helped me have a much better nights sleep, i'm raring to go for today's challenge. This will be split into 2 sessions as out with family and friends at 11 for a big long walk round the countryside :) so want to go as much as possible beforehand, and what ever is needed when we get back.

Tuesday Bathrooms and a bit of Everything Else
    Only got 15 minutes...
S&S toilets and sinks (including the kitchen) This will include downstairs toilet and office toilet (this one is always the worse as often neglected and guys use when come in off yard in their smellies)
Have homes been found for all the presents? Try to get one thing out of the house for each thing in - new socks, get rid of the religious ones etc Already done :)
    30 minutes to spare....
HHI only 2 loads to do, and one of them is towels so hopefully won't take long.
Clean the bath and/or shower Enamel bath, help I struggle to get it look clean, advice, greatly received.
Wipe any dusty surfaces in the bathroom
    Got an hour....
Use up/decant any dribbles from shampoo etc, bin the empties to make space for Christmas smellies. DS1 did this to a fashion yesterday, my bathroom is now full of all his smellies!! lol
Is all the special/Christmas linen washed and put away? PUT AWAY!! oh no, 12 days of Christmas, still using :)
Declutter floors (especially the landing) not just into a box or binbag to hide away, try to put things where they belong, a home for everything will make life easier Bottom of stairs for us, health hazard really, this definitely needs doing.
Sweep/mop/hoover floors you can now see :)

    Extras
New year, New you, what would you like to learn to do this year (much more inspiring than the same old loosing weight and exercising) or take a leaf from Honeybear's wonderful book and plan to do a good deed this year This year me and hubby want to restore an old bumper car, not so it works, just so it looks nice sitting on the patio outside, and kids can sit and play in it and it not be just a bed of weeds.
Update your Toot's list - how much did you achieve this year? What are your top 5 jobs for this coming year? DS2 wants his room decorating, DS1 rooms after. Office woodwork needs staining or waxing (was started before Christmas and really needs finishing) Lounge decorating (which needs more so than others but boys asked first in said order) Garden borders need some sort of attention.....
Chill something fizzy to toast the New Year will be my normal tipple of tia maria :)
Loving life to the full, just need purse full too :)
