Dispute in a car park today

OP, maybe it wasn't easiest for the customers to move their cars in and out with the double parking rule for that particular day, but its seems possible otherwise they would have a herd of customers complaining.
What you should have done, when you returned to your "stuck" car is wait for the other cars owner to move and in the mean time complain to the staff and they may have compensated you for the cost of parking.0

You paid for a parking space, you received that service.0

Well if you couldn't get your vehicle out, you should have made more of a fuss to the staff. If in any doubt, you shouldn't have moved your vehicle. Rookie driver's mistake.0

My Golf can fit 2 babies in there!
Oh really, if someone say I need a separate bed-room for my cat, what would you say?0

I made a mistake based on their mistake. For example, if you get on a overloaded bus, then there's a car accident. Whose fault? The bus shouldn't be overloaded. You shouldn't blame the passage rs who got onto that bus.
You provide a very poor example of why you believe you are not at blame. No one forced you to move your car out and then hit it. The more sensible option was to either wait or perhaps be more cautious when pulling out of the space.
This is yours and only your mistake. There is no justifiable premise or antecedent reason for you to make that mistake.
Expect a few hundreds worth of repair and learn from your mistakes.0

Did this to my Megane in July and cost over £800 to repair.0

I don't understand why people are focus on my audi q7. I have two babies, this is the best option for me.
Ok, I will repair the car myself if no compensation. But I don't understand why you guys don't think the car park has responsibility for this accident? I paid money for space and time, but they didn't give me enough space. I made a mistake based on their mistake. For example, if you get on a overloaded bus, then there's a car accident. Whose fault? The bus shouldn't be overloaded. You shouldn't blame the passage rs who got onto that bus.
Because you were the one behind the wheel when your car scratched the pillar.
My husband scratched a pillar in a car park last week after trying to park in a space that was too small for his car. The spaces in the car park should be big enough for most cars to park in, they aren't. That doesn't change the fact that he is responsible for the scratch. Similar issue here. The car park shouldn't allow double parking. You drove your car into a pillar. These are two separate issues.0
