5k run in the snow completed. Have another one planned for tomorrow. Have been good with food and just brushed my teeth so I won't snack tonight.0

I'm all in a quandary - have been looking at cross trainers. Need to do more exercise but can't decide should I buy a cross trainer ( approx £350) or shall I join the local gym ( yearly cost approx £500). Have been a member of several gyms over the year and spend most of my time on the cross trainer. Have just reduced my phone bill by £22 a month so could put that towards the gym fees. I could also get a PT when I need a little motivational help. But I also like the idea of coming home putting the dinner on and then working out on the cross trainer whilst it is cooking.
Have spent the last two weeks looking at machines and memberships. Help!
I bought both my cross trainers on ebay, around £50 each, second hand, both looked like new. Much more :money: Actually I need to sell the one in the garage as I don't have space in the house to use it now I've filled the place with small people.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Room for a (not so) little one?
I like the sound of a weigh-in Wednesday and also advocate the correct use of "lose" and "loose"!
I currently weigh 13st 4 and would like to lose 4 stone.:rudolf: DF by Xmas 2018: #83 £8,250/£15,000 55% :rudolf:

Thank you for the soup recipe, sounds yummy so will definitely give that a try
and DD will probably eat it as well. Anything jam packed full of vegetables and shes there, im sure it wont last once she gets to the fussy toddler stage!
I am not excited about the weigh in, actually pretty nervous that all of this has been for nothing!
Still feeling a bit rough, but walked about 1.5 miles today and planning on doing at least 20 minutes on the wii fit tonight so better than nothing I guess.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Thank you for the soup recipe - I have only ever made one soup and I didn't like it
Will have to give it another go and try your recipe.
I have to admit, I once bought a cross trainer and it sat in the corner of the room for 3 years and I went on it about twiceI have a gym membership now and like it because I can do classes, swim or use any of the equipment.
Today I have come in about 18 calories over my target, but I'm really pleased to be so closeI have done over 16000 steps, according to my pedometer (I don't trust it though). I do spend all day on my feet, did the food shopping and walked a couple of miles this evening, but I think it is too sensitive (and it is on the lowest setting).

I've either missed your starting weight (in which case I'm very sorry) or you haven't posted yet. Really wishing I could tag people right now!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I really want to join in! I know it's very late. I went from 12.3 in October to 11.3 just before Christmas, but I can't seem to stop eating all the chocolates so I know I am a lot heavier again. I think joining in would make me more responsible for my eating?? Please??£250 shopping, diesel and any other spends

Thanks everyone with your comments re: cross trainer v gym. Will make decision before end of the week.
Diet started properly for me yesterday. Husband has joined me on the diet - which should make things easier. Had a good day today. Made a beef and mushroom stew for tonight. Had butternut squash, spinach and jacket potato with it.2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

Been trying not to eat back my exercise calories but tonight my stomach was grumbling so much I cracked. Still under the goal for the day but only because I worked out. At least I can sleep now though!
