A well deserved gain of 6.3lbs with an all time high weight of 179.7lbs. Serves me right for eating all those yummy goodies during the Easter break :D

Lol... funny I weighed in today at 176 which is a 3.7lb loss from just 2 days ago.

@shrimpy_80 Can I please use my 176 weight for this week instead?

Congratualtions Mavvymoo, you are this week's winner :T

Headacherus - I searched the thread but I couldn't find a starting weight for you so couldn't work out your % - if you want this included could you please post or pm me your starting weight? If you prefer to stay on the charts as you are that's fine too :)

CMD and Jodles - I put you on as STS as I didn't want you to feel left out! Hope that's ok!

Birdie - don't be a stranger - we'll miss you! Look forward to having you back when you are ready.

I've been a bad shrimp, went to my friend's last night and decided to have a few glasses of wine after a hellish week at work. She had done some food for everyone and it was pure party food - think beige buffet. I was starving and ate a few naughties. Just hope I can balance it out with my good work before and after. I feel like a broken record at the moment!

*skulks back in, wiping prawn cocktail flavouring from lips*

Hi all, I fell off the wagon big style :( Work is just so so stressful that I just think, "Sod it, I deserve a little treat" (only it's never very little and it's every single day). Last night I ate a whole tube of pringles in about an hour and I felt absolutely rotten this morning, it was like a really bad hangover without the fun part.

I'm pretty depressed this evening as it's the end of the Easter hols and I'm back at work tomorrow. I've been ill to varying degrees pretty much all through the holiday and my knees have been playing up following a horrendous half marathon in torrential rain at the end of March so I haven't run at all. I just feel completely rotten and feel like I need an injection of healthy living.

I'm back up to 12st 1 - only 1lb less than my starting weight was back in January - I'm furious at myself!! However. There is light at the end of the tunnel now. I'll be handing in my notice in the next couple of weeks so although work is going to be more stressful than ever for various reasons, hopefully knowing that it's all coming to an end soon will help me stay on track this time.

There's now 14 weeks until the summer holidays and if I can lose 2lb a week I'll be at the bottom end of my goal weight range. So here's to starting again, if you'll have me?

Shrimpy, can you please take 169lbs as last week's weight and I'll weigh in on Wednesday as normal? My overall starting weight was 170lbs.

Thanks, sorry for the big ramble :)

I think we have come to the end of the honeymoon period and I don't know if others have been struggling with plateaux - I know I have

Maybe we should all try something new this week.

Mine is that I got a spiraliser from my hubby for Easter (a think which makes vegetables into pasta looking shapes) as I love pasta and that is one thing I have given up) going to give that a go to see if I can feel a little bit less hard done by

As of yesterday all the easter chocolate has gone from the house so that will help. I am a feaster so the only way to not eat crap is not to have it in the house

Tete lovely of course we'll have you - so sorry to hear you're still having a rough time. Will your notice run up to the end of the summer holidays? I feel like I want to drive up and give you a hug (and also kick the people who are giving you stress in the shins). When is your next race?

I agree that trying something new is a good idea Haras! I might try not stuffing my face :rotfl: Seriously, alcohol is my downfall. If I have anything social at a weekend which involves drinking, the weekend is a write off. I'm happy not drinking at certain events but I had a hen party on Sat and I had a bl00dy good time at it so not going to feel guilty, will just mitigate it as best i can. The next couple of weekends I think are clear so will just do my best. Still aiming to be at target for 20th May all being well. Will aim for two before work swimming sessions this week - not really something new but managing to complete it would make a change!

Mavvymoo never mind losing a small mouse, we actually gained a small cat this week between us :rotfl:

I started exercising with a little and often mindset last week and it's really helped. So now I do daily sit ups, crunches, press ups, plank etc, daily yoga (about 45-60 mins between all of them) then a 90 min yoga class twice a week, I start buggy running on Monday so that's another hour a week, and my yoga teaching should be starting in about a month, which will be an hour and a half to start with, but hopefully adding another hour and a half after summer. Until last week though I was sticking to the diet through the day then going on a complete binge on an evening and more than totalling out what I did in the day. I knew I was doing it but I couldn't stop and I don't know why. I've broken the pattern the last few days though, having a fridge with healthy things in it really helps!

Dinah I do the same - although I graze at work too I tend to only eat what I have taken in. At night I can't stay out of the cupboards! I snack as though my life depends on it and can't seem to break the habit.

Thanks to my neighbour hammering at half six this morning I actually got up and went for a run of sorts, but I feel massive and bloated again today so am dreading tomorrow! My weight is varying by about 5 pounds during the week (I weigh in every morning) and Wed is always without fail my heaviest day! Stupid body conspiring against me!
