Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
Amazingly having decided not to buy a new hoover today which we need, we found one on our walk! Had a sign to say that it still works and to help yourself. So we did. Nothing fancy, just a pull along argos own brand. But as the cheapest one in Mr S was £25 that's what I'm claiming as the womble value :)

    Also 11p roadkill.

Got 2,000 Nectar points as a bonus today, worth a minimum of £10, so I am very happy
  • What an amazing womble Bob, and just when you need it,

Congrats on your 2,000 nectar points sugarbaby.

I have a few wombled receipts from my ys shopping yesterday, to be uploaded on cashback sites. Speaking of ys, they were selling 3 big stalks of leeks in ashda yesterday for 5p. I bought about 10 packs, which I will chop and store in the freezer, the rest I will give to our church's community services to be used in the soup kitchen next week. Not a bad buy I'd say!

The only recent womble was a piece of candy at Reception. Enjoyable, but I could do with something more (ful)filling.

I picked up a 'free' item from CoS yesterday, which has taken me over £20 and have requested my first payout.

When I was coming out of Sains I went to the cashpoint and found a price match giving £3.50 off the next shop. I have given this to my mum as she does the shopping for the house.

Sorry about the parking ticket. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that you don't have to pay for it.

Finger crossing worked, the person whose place we stayed at has paid it today. As it turns out the permits changed in October, that's why it was invalid.

    Hurray, Muhren! Great news!

Today's wombles were fine, just not as fine as I'd hoped them to be. I'll explain: I handed in a load of wombled receipts, adding 124 loyalty points to my card (good). The free orange juice was out of stock (bad). My colleague bought each one of us a box of Neuhaus chocolates, these retail at 15 euros/12gbp (good). We had a company lunch, because of some important visitors (good). The caterers threw everything away after the lunch, including left-over buns and huge chunks of specialty cheeses (very very bad)! I found 3 cents in the sm (good).
