Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
Last night I used the £1 coupon I was sent for nappies which took the price of pampers to less than Little Ones. Also earned another £2.50 in nectar points.

Took about 4 wombled reciepts in to add on and then scanned them for the checkout apps.

At our department meeting this morning someone brought breakfast rolls, so I wombled a jamfilled donut, a pain au chocolat, and a croissant, and I took a croissant home after offering it to everyone in the department.

  • Good afternoon fellow womblers! It's snowing here in my corner of the northeast. In a couple of hours I'll be at work again. 3 days of late pm finishes (11pm). 7 shifts to go before I start my new job. Thanks for your advice re overtime. I will exactly as you said, weigh it according to my situation at the time. Extra money wouldn't go amiss but not at the expense of my own wellbeing and my family's.

Yep I think you should make it clear that you will be there when it suits you rather than when it suits them.

Might be worth checking your emails as I got one from Nectar for 10 x points at Sains this weekend which includes fuel. Points not added straight away, they take 28 days.

  • Our church pastor and his wife has just moved to a new house and they were getting rid of a 4-drawer filing cabinet and a good looking kitchen dresser. We offered to give them a new home. Saves us from buying brand new ones when good quality ones are available for free. Good wombles I'd say.

Picked up some 'free' crisps from the CoS list yesterday which I took round to my mates for the boxing last night. In total I have uploaded 5 receipts onto there since Friday, one of which was wombled.

Also received a Gatorade drinks bottle through the post yesterday from a comp I entered.

It is my birthday today and the sauna next door has sent me a free entrance voucher. I can take three friends for €10 each. The normal price is €26! I think I will go on my own, as it is not valid on weekends. Bliss, a few hours alone with a book.

    Happy birthday Siebrie!!

So today I was really annoyed with Mr S. I had a voucher for a certain amount of nectar points if I purchased £5 worth of canned fish. I chose to buy basics. No where on the coupon did it say it excludes basics but when it came time to pay the voucher wouldn't work and that's what they said the reason was. I have written an email to their customer services asking that the full amount be credited to me and pointing out that no where on the voucher does it say that basis are excluded so how can they enforce that? ?

OMG - super womble to report!!!

Just been paid £950 compensation for a poorly advised Autopilot Bond from NatWest. Apparently, I may not have been given all the relevant info regarding their disadvantages. Thank you very much!

Happy belated birthday Siebrie - hope you had a lovely day xxx
