just when I though I was keeping up with the thread I go and get sidetracked and then have to spend a few days catching up again.
So sorry to hear of your loss pixtotts and for all those still not having a great time positive vibes and hugs in your directions.
I had yesterday off for St Patricks day and had great plans to go into town see what was happening for the celebrations and doing a bit of decluttering and DIY but when I got home from work Monday evening my DH had got a dose of something nasty and was burning up and shaking. So sent him to bed and I was on toddler duty all evening and all of yesterday so that was those plans out of the window. Thank goodness I was already off though as playgroup was shut for St Patrick's day and don't think DH would have been in any fit state to watch munchkin.
IrishRose - hope you had a great day - sounds like you had it all planned out well.
Nothing christmassy going on in the KiWi household (well not unless you count my son still singing jingle bells while he is playing with his cars) but then he also has started singing happy birthday too lol
Had a lovely mothers day - got 3 handmade cards from my ONE son (playgroup one, creche one and at home with daddy one) who took great joy in explaining what his squiggles were. flowers and rockets were this years speciality it would seem - bless him
Hope everyone had a great day and hugs to those who have angel mummies. xx
Only work a half day Wednesday so I'm away to finish what work needs done before I can head off to see what is in store for me today when I get home.
take care everyone

Hi Everyone
Not much to report in. I am looking forward to next week as I have booked myself off Tuesday and Wednesday and plan to completely de-clutter and clean the house. I'm talking skirting boards and walls wiped, tops of doors, car next to the door ready for loading and trips to the tip i'm going to really have a good clean, sort and tidy.
Hugs all round xChristmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:

Thanks IrishRose, GTQ and Kiwi for the St Patrick's day posts and info - I also never knew a lot of that about it. I'm with Freespirit, I think it's a real shame we don't have proper English traditions for St George's day. It's a Thursday this year (April 23rd) and I've decided that I'm going to mark it by putting some bunting out at the front of the house. I do bunting for more or less anything I want to celebrate (Royal baby/wedding, Christmas, summer) so I'll get some red and white and put that out this year on said day! It's the most wonderful timeof the year :0

Evening everyone, its so quiet on here at the moment! Is anyone going to be watching the eclipse in the morning? Its supposed to be 85% coverage here but its been forecast as very cloudy so i dont know how much, if anything we will see. I remember the last one, we went and stayed in Cornwall as it was supposed to be the best place to be, but it was advertised everywhere, glasses were being sold, we even bought bottles of water with special eclipse labels, i didnt even know about this one until last week???Thanks IrishRose, GTQ and Kiwi for the St Patrick's day posts and info - I also never knew a lot of that about it. I'm quite excited about the partial eclipse in the morning but if it's cloudy like it was today I don't think I'll see anything at all although hopefully will still be able to experience it getting darker. I remember the last one and lots of people being in Cornwall to see it but I can't actually remember what it felt like for me.......it must be age. I agree about the lack of build up to this one - I've heard it on the television a few times but always updates that sort of assume you already know what's going. Fingers crossed we get to experience somethingIt's the most wonderful timeof the year :0

I dont know if it's because I'm less in touch with the real world now (not at school, don't watch news or read the papers), but I only heard about the eclipse Tuesday! I'm at work, so will probably miss it.
Well our IVF has been delayed for 5/6 weeksthe hospital messed up (although they aren't admitting it) and so now we have to wait. I'm seeing it as a positive sign that the fates have intervened lol.
We bought a house on the shared ownership scheme which is a 6 minute walk from the in laws, so I am crossing everything that it will all go smoothly. Hopefully there will be no issue with mortgage and exchange dates.
We are picking up DH motability car today and we are both very excited! Our other cars have all been over 10 years old, so a new one is going to be AMAZING!
Sadly its my last day at my Friday placement todayI'm extremely sad as the team are fantastic
Hope every one has a good day![/COLOR]2024 Challenges

Hi all, life has taken over a little recently and I've been staying with both sets of grandparents so I haven't been on for a while!
feisty yay for finding a property! :T I sincerely hope it all goes through smoothly for you. Whilst it's frustrating that the IVF has been delayed, I would see it as an opportunity to work on relaxing. House buying/selling is always stressful so if you have a bit more time to prepare yourself it could be a positive. Wishing you lots of luck. x
mrsinvisible sorry to hear your DD is having problems too, it is not a fun time for them at the moment. Sending you all lots of hugs and positive vibes. x
murie your DD is very brave! How did her presentation go?
mrs-monypenny really glad to hear everything was ok with your DD and baby.
I'm sorry if I've missed other things, I've not got much time to read and catch up and post! Lots of hugs to others that need them.
Wiggle has been fairly grumpy lately and very clingy, but I noticed a tooth just cutting through his gum earlier so that might explain it!
On the Christmas front I haven't bought anything else but have added some more ideas to my Christmas spreadsheet so my shopping list is getting longer. I'm itching to get going but a lot of it isn't suitable to buy just yet!
I bought most of my Easter eggs in the buy 2 get 2 free at Tesco's. I bought DH the Cadbury's egg & spoon as he loves them, then I bought some Cadbury's mini chocolate eggs (he only really likes Cadbury's chocolate) as I want to set up an Easter egg hunt for him and each clue will have an egg with it. I love doing all of that stuff, will probably be more appropriate for wiggle rather than DH when he's a bit older!0 -
Morning all
Hope everyone is as well as they can be, hugs good wishes and posi vibes to all who need them.
Feisty, I DO hope everything goes well for you re the house and the IVF, I will have everything crossed for you.
I need to buy Easter eggs, was just going to go for bars of chocolate but DS1 said he'd prefer an egg as it feels special.
Princesskitty hope little one starts feeling better once the tooth has cut through.SPC~12 ot 124
