Just checking in, not had a chance recently. Been so busy at work that I didn't know whether I was coming or going, but think, read that as hope, things have settled down.
Had a quick skim through, some of you not having the best of times, so hugs. I've been diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy, waiting for Mri etc to establish underlying cause so that can be treated & then hopefully that will have a beneficial effect on the pain. As I see gp so infrequently, I got told off for smear being late, 4 years  I hadn't realised so had to get that booked in. Been to surgery & hospital more times in the last month or so than last 10-15 years!
Not done much Christmas wise, think I may wait until I get myself sorted, though I will keep an eye out for bargainsA smile costs little but creates much0 -

goodmorning, The sun is up, l better do the same.
Fiesty, good luck and calming vibes for you both, Hope that you find the right place then you can relax through the IVF.
I never read any of Terry Pratchet s books, but it is sad that he has died prematurely, and of such a horrid curse.
I didn't do any housework, went shopping with DD for an hour or two, then in the evening Fave cous and l went to a friends 50th birthday bash. Luckily l had something suitable in the stash for her to go with the 50 things that happened in your year of birth book.
On the Christmas front, l got DD 2 tops and a pair of slippers in the marks and spensive sale, but then l gave her the tops to cheer her up a bit, and DGS is giving her the slippers for mothers day.... ah, well.0 -
Evening everyone, Happy Mothers Day to all those celebrating, i have been thoroughly spoilt with really thoughtful gifts off of the kids, full english breakfast and dinner tonight cooked for me, as our NANAMIA would say i truly am blessed. DS told me at 10pm last night that i had to get up early as he was taking me out for a surprise, of course any normal person would be excited, NO.... not me, i started stressing out, so he had to ruin the surprise and tell me he was taking me to the cinema to see The 2nd Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and had booked the first showing so there wouldnt be many people in there :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:my kids know me so well!!! We have another day of celebration tomorrow my DD1s 26th birthday so more cake
and a nice dinner.

Need to get something for my brothers GF's 21st as we will be going out on Friday night for a meal to celebrate, not sure what to get, possibly a voucher or I may do a mini hamper with face mask, slippers, mini wine bottle, dvd and some chocs.
Christmas wise, last week I ended up side tracked with a job that popped up at work so couldn't sit and browse then the weekend has just flown by we have been so busy. All being well I am going to look this week at some point and get some bits ordered.
All the wedding stationary is ordered and arrived, just need to print and then start putting together. I have found the bridesmaid dresses, just need to get them ordered as they didn't have all the sizes in the store when we were still looking around. Just the suits to get sorted now clothing wise. Can't believe how fast time is flying by :jChristmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:

Afternoon everyone :hello:
Reading back I see some of us aren't having a good time at the moment:( Lots of hugs and best wishes being sent your way.
Hope everyone had a lovely Mother's Day yesterday. I had a lovely one sat at home with the kiddies watching the footie match. Told hubby to go out to the bar to watch it but he was having none of it:eek: so we were all sat in our footie tops and comfy bottoms with lots of nibbles. It was great!
Not much happening on the Christmas front ATM, we're preparing for St. Patrick's Day tomorrow, so chill out day today, as we'll have a busy day tomorrow lol. Kids are out in the front garden playing, one is napping so I'm off to make a start on my downstairs bathroom to clear out. Got 3 bags of charity things taken away this morning so it has spurred me on:TPay all debt off by Christmas 2025 £815.45/£3,000£1 a day challenge 2025 - £180/£730 Declutter a bag a week in 2025 11/52Lose 25lb - 10/25lbs Read 1 book per week - 5/52Pay off credit card debt 18%/100%0
