Those are gorgeous! I wish they'd offer me some free delivery again!
    Hobnobs are like marines
  • Chrissyg, they look lovely and very well priced, what store is that?

Thanks everybody for the welcome to the head, much appreciated :)

3forholidays, I really like plain paper, as you can do so much to jazz it up, and it is suitable for birthdays, and other occasions as well as christmas!
  • I've got my wish the snow is here and sticking! !!

Happy birthday pigpen and congratulations newthrift!!

Chrissyg is that studio? OH got the wrapping paper this year and it was metallic and it wrapped well I didn't want to know how much but this could be the answer. I'm queen of gift bags but may be swayed.
  • Free spirit I meant to agree with you regarding going through and ringing thr tv guide but its actually not been too bad as I've been channel hopping. Loved seeing father Christmas then the snow man but dd switched over for the snowman and snow dog ohwell. There was also a rreally good film on with I think david niven called life and death it was an old one and I'd never seen it but really enjoyed it. Can't wait for the latest david walliams we watched mr stink and gangsta granny the other day.

Can anyone tell me who was the murderer in broad church. I didn't watch it but habe been avid on itvencore but won't get t see the final one until 3rd Jan I can't wait !!

    Hugs to all x

I hope you really want to know.......it was the uncle (I think he was an uncle, if not he was the dad's best mate - he was involved in all the searches and always at the house anyway). I enjoyed the story but felt it could have been done in less episodes because it was so drawn out. Also don't like the real Dr Who (David Tennant) not being strong and decisive lol.

Had a lovely Christmas but it's the preparation and the actual days that do it for me, once Boxing Day is done then it's all over - tree and decs will be down tomorrow.
It's the most wonderful timeof the year :
  • Jealous of your snow Chrissy - we've got lots of rain but somehow that isn't the same :D

My main tree is coming down tomorrow. I can't stand having it up any longer, plus it needs to come down before my work order arrives on Monday. :( Other decorations can wait until DD gets home (Tuesday) then she can help. I want everything except the window cleared & away before New Year. I like to start each year with a completely clean house if I can as it also means less rushing about before her going back to school ;) The house will look so bare! :(
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
