Afternoon.
Am on day 3 of 11 days off and am loving it !! I haven't had any time off since last Christmas x
I'm not going mad in the sales this year, mind you from what I've seen online there isn't much out there.
Saying that, I've bought my Dad his Birthday, Fathers Day and Christmas presents. They are from Debenhams and Dotcom. I just need to get him some beer to go with them nearer the time. x
Beings as he is the hardest one to buy for I'm very pleased he is done.
Hope everyone else is having a nice time.0 -
Well the flat is finally back to normal, all new items have found a home and I even managed to have a mini clear out too.
I got the wonderful present of two large fold out make up cases, one for make up and the other for nail varnishes and bits. I can now actually see what make up I have and can find everything quickly! It means I've been re-bitten by the pinterest organisation bug and am considering spending some of my christmas pennies on bits to make me de cluttered and more organised! First on the list is a little make up bag filled with essentials (paracetamol, hand gel, hair grips, emergency make up, contact lenses etc) that can be moved from one handbag to the other and mean I'm never without necessities!
I did pop out for bread earlier, but it was so busy I didn't fancy my chances braving the big shops so came straight home lol.[/COLOR]2024 Challenges

Everyone else big hugs
Today I am going to make a start on my bedroom (its a box room which before Xmas was pretty full .. now it is full to the brim and I can't even see my bed now lol!
I really want to heal up so I can get to the shops lol!
Warm hugs to all. xNanMias - cyber granddaughter!

Other than a few bits ive not bothered with the sales much although weather permitting we plan to go to the Christmas shop for a mooch around tomorrow.
Birthday wise DD's 18th is almost sorted only the bag she wants to get and ive made a start on my OH's so I'm happy, the only other birthday I have to buy for is a nephew's 21st in August. We only buy gifts for special birthdays so all the cards are ready for everyone else.

OMO That's great that you've managed to get presents for your Dad as men are so difficult to buy for!
Newthrift Glad that you both managed to get home safely. I once had a journey home from work a bit like that because of the snow - a 25 minute journey took one & a half hours!
mandco Hope Taz feels better soon!

Glad you made it home in time for xmas jj. Can't believe you then did all your wrapping! !
Nic do you enjoy it most of the time. People are worse this time of year. It is no excuse. Maybe if you gripped them in an intimate area with force and said "nice d I ck" they'd get the message. You'd probably get the sack bit what a way to leave eh!!! It would be the ultimate in equality.
Watching white Christmas love it x x x x x0 -
Great new thread! I definitely don't need any tags, paper or cards for next year (didn't buy any for this year either), but I am going to look out for plain, shiny paper in the sales so that I can use it for any present. Like others, I've started a "re-gifting" box and have found other items around the house that I've bought, never used and decided to use as presents.
Enjoy the rest of your holiday if you're still off!0 -

Mandco I know its good to get out of the way and qall that but I feel for you both hope it goes quick!!0
