  • Hi, I'd like to sign up for the year :)

Just had a massive sort out of gift wrap, cards and tags. I had an amnesty on it in 2014, as had quite a stash particularly of christmas paper. Due to this, most of what I had left was remnants and bits I wasn't keen on and therefore have never used. I now have a decent sized bag for the hospice shop as they always bundle stuff like that up and sell it cheap, so somebody might like it.

Then I have made a £30.35 paperchase order with free delivery. So pleased with what I picked in the sale. I like to have one patterned paper at christmas so bought 10 rolls reduced from £3.50 to a £1 per roll. Then I have bought the full price practical paper I always get (recycled plain brown), a roll of metallic white, a roll of cellophane. A replacement phone cover (identical to the one that broke but protected my phone when I dropped it last week) down to £6 from £12, and a selection of cards and gift bags (all spoken for for upcoming birthdays). Now feeling scarily organised on the giftware front, which feels nice. No christmas cards though as I no longer send them.

Anybody else stock up on gift wrap in the sales?

  • Welcome dragonlily.

That sounds like a decent haul you got there.

I won't be buying any wrapping paper, tags or cards in the sales this time around because I still have a load from the sales a few years back. However, the rate my family is growing, I may need to replenish my stock in the end of year sales in 2015.

:) Welcome to our new thread dragonlily!

I don't think that I need any Christmas paper - I'm needing to buy some paper suitable for wrapping birthday presents along with some tags though.

I might have a look at the plain gold & silver paper in the sales - if it is reduced enough! :)

Hope that everyone had a lovely & enjoyable Christmas yesterday.

Thanks for the shiny new thread!

and congratulations Newthrift on your engagement. :)

I still don't need any wrapping paper, but I do need some gift tags now. Not sure if I'll look in the sales or just buy from card factory next Christmas.
