Well I hope everyone had a lovely day yesterday. I was thoroughly spoiled by everyone and now have enough chocolate to see me through the first couple of months of the year.

Haven't gone to the sales today but may pop in sometime next week just for a wonder round when it's hopefully a bit quieter and some people may have gone back to work. Will be going to Tesco tonight for my normal weekly shop so will see if they have any wrapping paper etc reduced for next year.

Already have a couple of ideas that people mentioned during the day so have added them to the ideas list and have set up my new spreadsheet for next year :)

One more week and everything will be back to normal..
  • Just waiting to be paid then will pop money in xmas savings acc. Have upped the budget this year as I didn't quite have enough but still managed. Bben given a small bonus at work do might put all that in to get me off to good start.

Dh at work. Hes a theatrical technician so its panto therefore work time. I dont mind. Boxing day is for playing with all stuff and finding homes for it.

I did well. Perfume and a watch plus slippers n pjs. Oh and some yankees.

The playmobil hotel is down mega cheap on the mr am website and debating on putting it away for dd2 for birthday in august. She will be 6 but still plays with it a lot n has no interest in sisters lego. Hmm. Will ponder over a cuppa.

Hope everyone is having a nice boxing day whatever you are up to xxx
  • How you all had a good christmas? I'm sad it's all over, by this evening I will be back at work :(
We had a lovely Christmas Eve and great day yesterday. The meal all went to plan, it's hard work but worth it to see everyone together and enjoying themselves. We ate til we were ready to pop, then enjoyed wine and board games.
The kids loved everything they got.

I was spoiled too and did very well. I had made a few wish lists and emailed them to my oh through the year. His request as he had no idea what to get me. So I got lots of nice things I had eyed up.

Quidsy I plan to do the same. I don't like buying too early Incase people point out things later in the year,or lose weight etc. I plan to buy one of this tins in Poundland and safe £2 coins and any extra £1 I have. I can't afford to save to much and if it's in my account I'll spend it.

My mum did that years ago - she told me that she once bought a 'My Little Pony' house in February and kept it until December!

Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:
    Mum to two boys :heartpuls
  • One of my Christmas surprises this year is that I am going to be an auntie again - my eldest brother and his wife announced that they are expecting their first baby in July :j

That part of the year is getting a bit crowded now though, as my birthday is in August and my twin 15 month old nephews also have their birthday in August. If the newest baby is late it could end up being an August baby too :D
