I apologise for news I have missed I will be having a good read back and hope to post later. I'm well stressed out right now, to cut along story short I had a phone call Monday evening confirming my admission to hospital Friday morning!! It's for important surgery I knew I was having but I hadn't received any paperwork so I presumed it would be happening after Christmas.so my head is all over and I've got lists for lists talk about timing. Hugs to the poorlies catch up with you all later

Thank you so much for the birthday wishes. They are all very much appreciated especially as I haven't posted much on here ( most of the year:eek:), I must do better next year.

I have had a good birthday although nothing out of the ordinary.

Mrs money penny your cross stitch is lovely. The stocking for your grandson was amazing

Princess kitty how exciting putting a reservation fee down on a new build

Freespirit sorry to hear thumper has been so unwell and in hospital. It must have been very worrying for you all and I hope he is on the mend now. Ds2 was in hospital a few times when he was a baby with bronchiolitis/asthma he has now outgrown it.

i have all presents bought but can't seem to get motivated to wrap them. I must do them soon as we are going away on Monday. We are going to my parents for Christmas so no food to buy.

Belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Picnmix, 3forholidays and BunBun - apologies for not being around on the actual days.

PrincessKitty, yay huge congratulations on the new house, def something to look forward to next year, Christmas in your new home :T

Free, hope you have a lovely extra day with Thumper, you must be shattered.

Like others I'm finding the days flying by and I don't feel there's enough time to enjoy the pre-Christmas build up. Did the basic food shop for the next two weeks today so just the actual Christmas food shop to go now. Finally got DH the sweets and chocs for his sweetie jar so just need one more thing for him now and I'm finally done. Considering I've been shopping since July I'm not doing that well lol. DD has given us the list of things she'd like for her birthday (New Years Day) so just need to decide what to get and whether to get it now or wait and hope for reductions in the time between Christmas and new year and risk them being sold out. Decisions decisions.

On Kirstie's Handmade Christmas this week she made some really simple dog cookie treats - so simple in fact that I'm going to do them with DGD when she's here next week and the three dogs we have between us can all have some. :)

  • Morning all
Congrats on the lovely house news peppa pig. I meant to watch Kirsty's Christmas but forgot, I may have to find it on I player or something next week, and treat the girls dogs.
Panto day today, I'm going with my school to see Snow White so looking forward to that.
Al the local cards got delivered last night, me and Dh went for a walk and got hem all done, it was lovely walking round admiring everyone's fairy light displays.

Got the cards to write for one of the classes before I go to work today so better crack on.

    Have a good day all

    Good Morning all,
only 8 more sleeps eeek! So excited. The kids are excited that there is only one more school get up to do now.

Mrs-moneypenny- I have got 2 days to get as much as I can finished before kids finish, DS finishes at 1pm and dd finishes at 2.30pm on friday. Not got alot to do now but it is all the bits that need pulling together. Those lyrics are fab x
Murie- £90 reduction! good grief! I am waiting until the usual january sales for my next spending now.
gettingtherequickly- lol I know what you mean, my loft room looks like santas sleigh at the minute. There is stuff everywhere, a day of cleaning and sorting today as im scared I will forget something.
linz4383-hope you all feel better soon
babyboo- omg nothing like springing a date on you is there! well good luck with the op and wishing you a speedy recovery , good job you are a fully paid up member of fab christmas organisation.
bunbun2- Hope you have a lovely time at your parents for christmas x
peppapig-I forgot all about kirsties homemade christmas, YES!! that means I can catch up with it on iplayer. Love it when I have some nice christmassy programmes to watch lol

Well total blitz of the house today! as soon as school drop has been done it is home to get cleaning. If I get chance I will wrap the last few presents too. Have charged my dd new DS so she can play it straight away. Just got to wrap that with all the games and ds holder. Thought it best to wrap it all together as last year she unwrapped her tablet holder before she unwrapped the tablet so it didnt have the same effect lol. Still got christmas cards to deliver. Did the wider family yesterday with my Grandma, also took her to the florist to pick up the wreaths for family members graves. She wont go yet as she said its too early as they will get pinched, what is the world coming too!! Pinching things off graves
Anyway big hugs and christmas sprinkles to all xx

BABYBOO I'm so sorry, I was so busy trying to remember what I'd read that I completely missed the end of your post. I hope everything goes well for your surgery in the morning and recovery is speedy so you can enjoy the festivities. I'll be thinking of you and sending healing vibes your way. Hope to see you back here with your Christmas friends very soon. X
