Vulpix -OMG I want one!! :rotfl: Someone is going to be very lucky this christmas!
Ordered some more presents earlier from NOTH. They have up to 50% off a lot of items so I got a faux fur collar for £6 (down from £20) for my sister in law and a pretty bracelet/necklace for £8.40 (down from £12) for a friend. Well worth a look!
Better get back to studying. This essay plan won't write itself...“In 900 years of time and space, I’ve never met anyone who wasn’t important”

That looks amazing Vulpix!! X
Well our tree is up :santa2: :xmastree: the place looks great. Decorated the hallway, kitchen and living room. Put a nice thin garland for the banister. The kids got some lights for their windows from Poundland yesterday. We also made some mince pies. So feel very festive.
Looking forward to a movie night with the kids with popcorn, then a couple glasses of wine later when they are in bed x:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Happy birthday Pinknfluffy
belated birthday wishes fluffysox
Freespirit I'm feeling alot better thanks just got that post migraine dull ache and fogginess, taz is feeling better too. Hope everything went well for dd yesterday
Princesskitty S&D is sickness & diarrhea apparently they have had a few off with it this wk so a heads up would have been nice. Luckily despite saying he felt sick he only really had the latter and after sleeping most of the afternoon is back to his usual self but did mean he had to stay off preschool as its 48hrs exclusion. Goodluck with the viewing
Fiesty good luck with the move. re the neighbours apologise for the build works noise if you really feel you need to but it sounds like your did all you could to try and be as considerate as possible and while yes its probably been a little annoying it was necessary. I can understand your a little worried about getting off on the wrong side of them but you have the right to live your life without worrying about normal everyday noise levels. Once you move in you'll find out how much you can hear them and better judge wether or not they are being reasonable or just picky. The walls here are pretty thin but its rare that either of us say anything about the noise usually its just to say hope we didn't disturb you too much if one of us has been louder than usual like having a party. Their dog has been barking half the night but as its not a usual occurance I don't have a problem even if it was annoying at the time.
Vulpix the selections box look great
didn't see any bargains that tempted me yesterday other than the skylanders
right better shoot and make a start on decluttering the boys room and sort out any stuff we can donate/recycle tc all
ok so hopefully this posts as I keep getting told my resquest has been blockedthis year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk0 -
loving that selection box!!! i want one lol
we've had a fab xmassy day. Went and did a bit of xmas shopping this morning (got a lovely blanket for my bed... dd4 said it looks like santas blanket! its red and fluffy lol) and an alice in wonderland themed tin of cookies for dd1. dh bought my stocking - ITS TINY! and the clues he's given me has left my brain doing over time pmsl.
we then went and saw the coca cola lorry.
and then we took dd4 to see SANTA! i admit it, i may have fan girled a little teehee... dh just sat there rolling his eyes. "OMG SANTA! I KNOW HIM!" left my mouth. queue lots of adults gigglingi knew they were just jealous lol
dh bought me some craft bits home from work yesterday so i can finish off some elf props... and make a new wreath.
loads to do and little time to do it in ...... i shall get it all done! i shall

Hi everyone,
:xmastree: its officially christmas in my household as we put the tree up today :j
Pinksteps- A big thank you to you for taking the time to pm me about the xbox deal. really appreciate it xx
mandco- I was up til 1am and still didnt end up getting anthing! lol that made me laugh about your cat stealing tinsel. Hope you and taz feel better soon.
murie-sounds like a fantastic day at the christmas markets
freespirit66-hope dd is ok, sending healing wishes x My dd is still unwell, she is not as bad but still not right x Love the red cups! they are fab.
mrsinvisible-lol that made me laugh about the scarf as I keep doing exactly the same thing. Start one job but then have to do 30 other things to be able to complete the original one job I started x
clumsy42-i havent bought anything either, im putting it down to us being so price savvy all year that the deals are not impressing us lol x just having a nosey on NOTHS now x
mrsmoneypenny-thanks for the christmas book recommend.well done on the tombola win
feistfidget- Hope the move went well, as for the neighbours- you have been more than considerate, builders have started drilling on my street at 8am on a saturday! Maybe it was just a bad day for them. for Babies cry, people understand that so do not worry and stress about trying to keep quiet. it is your home, you are going to be making very special memories that do not require volume control. You enjoy your house and ignore the neighbours.
princesskitty29-well done on the house sale.
Vulpix-lol I honestly do the same thing with gifts, I have got 2 lovely new ollie and nic handbags for christmas from husband and he has no idea lol Amazing selection box! any pics of the wreath?
pinknfluffy-happy birthday
Nic2075-Yeah to your tree being up! my favourite part of the year xx We have put snowflakes and stars in our windows but may brighten them up with some lights from poundland too.
Dd has had laryngitis so has been quite ill with it, her worse day was yesterday but her temperature broke so she had a better night. She is now resting and hopefully should feel better in a few days. Our tree and decs are up. Just got to do the kitchen, hanging the same snowflakes that are in our windows on our kitchen wall. Going all out with decs this year. Bought FIL gift so it is just DS now. Did not end up getting him an xbox one as we cannot decide whether its the right gift to get him now. Hubby and I will talk about it tonight as we need to make a decision x Not done anymore wrapping as DD is has been off. trying to get the elf things ready and in one place. Exciting stuff! I am sooooo excited x0 -
msgigglewick-very jealous about the coca cola truck visit and seeing santa too xx0

Busy times just now as I am away from home a lot, whilst waiting for my daughter's baby to arrive (was due on 23rd). I have her two little boys sleeping here this evening to let her have a rest. They wanted to watch Elmo's Christmas Countdown (Do you believe in Christmas miracles?) so no getting away from Christmas now, lol. This afternoon we got all the decorations down from the loft as I need to put them up bit by bit as my friend is coming from Glasgow to stay on Thursday and we always have a Christmassy time when she is here and the house needs to be decorated (I do every room!) and I will probably be at my daughter's again from tomorrow. They will induce her on the 3rd if no baby arrives before that. That's the day my friend arrives too! Getting a tad stressed to be honest and can't believe I am meant to be going to France for the Christmas markets Monday week. Not sure I will be able to go so soon after baby arrives, we thought he would be born when we made the booking. Oh well, what can I do. I will probably find a Christmas movie to watch once these two little lads drop off to sleep.0

Evening everyone, i have got my tree it is currently laying on the floor of my LR  i havent had time to sort it out yet! I got everything off of my lists today so now that is it all i need are the fresh bits a few days before the big day, phew! Thankyou to everyone who asked about DD2 the op went well but they have found another problem while operating so arent sure this will work, they can try this another couple of times but if still not solved then they will do a completely different op and it will mean she wont be able to give birth naturally again, it will always have to be caeserean, but we are going to be positive and hope that this will work
RUTHHONEY aww my little christmas fairy, what a lovely surprise! You are so kind and thoughtful, i am absolutely thrilled with all my little bits, thankyou so so much!!! I will tweet you just in case you dont come on here tonight :A:A
CLUMSY aww i hope you can get your essay done and out of the way so you can concentrate on getting finished christmas wise
MRSMONEYPENNY thanks for the recommendation of the christmas book i will look out for it, wow you are on a winning streak today i hope you bought a lottery ticket
FEISTY i agree with everyone else dont worry about your neighbours, everyone makes noise getting their house sorted when they first move in, and i dont doubt for a minute you would have noise going on at all hours, just be wary and stand your ground, as people like that can sometimes think they have all the rights seen as they have lived there longer and like to show whos boss! I hate confrontation as well and it would make me feel ill for days but sometimes you have to show you wont be victimised. Just let it go and enjoy your day moving into your lovely new house, and certainly dont worry about baby. Hope you havent overdone it too, look after yourself!
PRINCESSKITTY haha you did make me smilewow, congratulations on selling without it going on the market, it will be lovely being near family for wiggle, you will always make friends when you have kiddies so dont worry about that
i completely know where you are coming from i am so organised and have nothing to worry about, but i felt like that buying the tree today and it being december on tuesday as well, its so silly!
VULPIX
