Mandco, Tesco currently have 20% off of iTunes. The offer ends on 22 November:

I found the gingerbread flavour popcorn in the Christmas aisle in Tesco today when I went in to pick up some of the half price selection boxes, so bought some to put in my son's stocking.
On my way out of Tesco I saw a lady with one of those large loading bay trolleys full of selection boxes busy packing them into her car :eek:Smiles are as perfect a gift as hugs...

Getting in the swing of things. I had more Christmassy bits come to review and one in particular is absolutely brilliant, a really novel way of literally dressing up a bottle gift.
It's a Christmas jumper to fit on a wine/spirits bottle, with a woolly hat to go on the top.
Came from China and took just under two weeks. Mine will dress up a bottle for a raffle to raise funds for the local live music club. I'm half hoping I win it back .... or I could just buy another one, I guess!
I got these decorative applique /voile stockings too, too lightweight for gifts really, but nice decorations to hang from the mantelpiece.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... Something else I bought, but without breaking the bank. Did you know that charity shops sell on Am@zon? I love looking round the physical charity shops for Christmas CDs, but I find it difficult with my walking sticks.
I got this great CD (especially if you like soul and Tamla Motown) from an online charity shop and it was in near perfect condition. Delighted!Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Well I've got my Mum's present sorted, and I'm still putting off sorting my sisters as she's so easy
Dad again no idea and Brother in Law is a tricky one... but easier than my Dad!
Trouble with BIL is that he has a lot of hobbies and interests (the World Wars and their history, WWE, cinema, male fashion, theatre...!) and so it can be quite difficult to narrow bits down. In the past I've always gone for historical books and stuff but they have bookshelves full of books and I'm never sure if he reads them. The WWE stuff and film related stuff is great but again, difficult to know what he actually wants from that - my sister isn't much help!
Half tempted to see if there's a good theatre show on that I could get the two of them tickets for, they both really enjoy going to the Theatre and stuff so that might be a goer.
Someone suggested theatre tickets for my Dad, I was considering Jimmy Carr tickets but no-one would be willing to go with him and my Mum pointed out he'd have bought them for himself already if he wanted them. We were going to club together and get him a new mobile as a group present but again, we're not sure what he wants and he needs to make sure it works with his contract etc... Grr.
Worst comes to worst I'm off to Lincoln with my parents next Saturday and I've got the 11th off work so me and Mum are going to hit up the big shopping centre in MK so hope is not lost yet. I'm milling around Amazon looking for things to add to my basket as I'm £4 below the blasted free delivery price for ONE item out of 6!£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January0 -

Thanks lovely, we have the movers booked for the 28th November and so it should (hopefully) mean some lovely time together before Jr arrives and when the house is in some sense of normality!freespirit66 wrote: »Evening everyone, i got some smoked salmon and OJ today to put away for christmas, i am having trouble finding Coffee Compliment pots atm i used to buy them but the only place i can find them is ocado and they were oos when i tried to order them

Morning all
Nothing Christmassy to report but ds1 psuaded us to go and see frank turner with him last night, it was awesome!!!! Can't think of when I've had more fun. Late back so will be stifling yarns all day at work but really good night, have a listen to him on utube if you get a chance, a bit loud and punkyesque but great lyrics.
Oh I did trim one of the trees at school last night, hope to get other finished after work today.
Have a good day allSPC~12 ot 124
