Evening everyone, well we did it :j:T:j:T:j:T the whole wall is finished, we even had a fireplace to contend with, DD1 was fab and soon picked it up, so the frog that has taken 20 months to be eaten was completed in one afternoon :eek::eek: I hope the above link works if not i will post it from photobucket i am just trying something new! I feel like a massive weight has been lifted from my shoulders!

Freespirit66- I cannot get the link to work, is it a picture of your decorating? Glad it went well. My mum works on a very busy heart ward at local hospital so they tend to split the shifts as they usually work 13 hour days. This way at least everyone gets a chance to spend part of the day at home. She is like us, she loves christmas so anybody who is in hospital on christmas day is in for lots of fun and cheering up if she is in. I am proud of her really as she always takes the extra time to go the extra mile for people. Im going to get her some christmassy badges and earrings to wear on the ward x

Re the conversation. I've never actually had it with my kids, they know how much I love Christmas so have gone along with me and a couple of hints have been dropped like kids at school have said things, but I've just said if you believe he comes. To the extend my eldest dd1 in her early 20s once took me to one side put her arm around me and said you do really know about Santa don't you mum? I must have given the game away with my bemused look and smirk cos she creased up laughing and said thank.....(biblical term inserted here not major swear word). For that we thought it must have all been dad as we couldn't even catch you buying wrapping paper!
Have posted a photo of one of the trees on pintrest but need to take another picture of the other as I had to delete it after noticing a photo of one of the children in shot.

Good morning everyone!
I've got myself a little Xmas temp job with royal mail. It's data entry so all the county's on the envelopes that are illegible for the computer I have to manually type it in. Really boring but it's 6-10pm so no childcare needed and a bit of extra pennies!
Got some bargains yesterday at the local Nike factory store. Trainers for my son were £30 each reduced to half price then an extra 70% off the lowest sticker price!! So £4.50 each well chuffed with them.
Also I nipped into Lidl this morning as it's a stone throw away from me and picked up the Christmas magazine on the way out. Inside was some coupons for 50% off Favorina Panettone classico, 50% off Deluxe 12 macaroons. 25% off Deluxe Long Clawson Blue Stilton and 25% off Deluxe with Love Five Bird Roast all expire 6/12/15. Hope they help someone as some good bargains.
35 days to go! This time in 5 weeks will be Christmas day!!! Arrrggghh best get my finger out!!

Everything is wrapped apart from a few books I'm waiting on, so now it's time to sit back and relax.
Waiting for the builder to let me know when he is going to start work, have patio doors, back door and guttering to be replaced. Hope it will not be too long as he said he would be ready to start the beginning of this month.
Kaya I live a few miles Gunwharf Quays but it gets far too busy for me I'm afraid but I do hope you get some bargains.

Not been on for a few days! Been very busy witnessing the birth of my gorgeous niece!!!
Hoping to finally get sorted with ds only taken them 10 months but theyve finally referred him to see if theres deeper problems than the colic/constipation/ reflux n everything weve had to deal with!
Need to get all wrapping dun and sent to santa so we can have a good clean through to start gettin decs up over next couple of weeks. Just going to have a catch up with a coffee whilst the little munchkin is sleeping x

Morning All. Thanks for the advice about the cream in the Baileys. Will just go for normal single cream I think. The planner I bought was on Amazon - the busy B Christmas planner. I also bought an Organised mum budget book which I am loving using.

Hopefully this will work, otherwise i give up i am such a technophobe and cant understand how something that works suddenly doesnt:D i feel so much lighter this morning seeing the wall and i know it sounds ridiculous but i feel very proud of myself and DD1, but its really thanks to you lovely peeps who encouraged me to give it a go and realise that i can be strong. Right i must get on, need to offload 8 bags to a charity shop today, another thing i absolutely hate doing :rotfl:EDIT oh dear it looks awful there but now its dried out it is superb

Watched a film called 'Get Santa' last night that I haven't seen before. It's fairly new and was quite good!
Kaya - I'm half way through the book and it is really good, going to be a Christmas classic I think.
04624181 - Yes, I will set away some time this weekend and will try and stop the cats from eating the wrapping paper while I'm doing it which is my main problem

Oh dear I am just slacking a little with getting on here this year!!
I was keeping up reading at least a few weeks ago - thank you to everyone for their lovely comments re my dress!

Christmas shopping is almost done after I went on my annual shopping trip to Meadowhall with my mum yesterday.
On an un-christmas related topic I really need to sit and set my money budget out again!! I'm not over spending every week but some weeks I am *slaps hand*!

I haven't read back and i'm certain I will not be able to catch up quickly at all, so I endeavor to have a quick skim read over the weekend!!
