Thanks yes we are very excited especially since shes moving from England over here to live together very exciting times ahead and when she was last here she didn't want to leave so its nice knowing this time theres no "goodbyes"

Shes adamant I move in when I get the keys though which is almost 3 weeks before her, but Im going to paint the main bedroom and take it from there and see how far I get....

Im heading to tescos tonight after work as I forgot to get chicken out for my dinner so will take a look thanks!! :)

freespirit66 You’re so creative, that frame looks really good.

Spendless Ooh hopefully by the weekend Boots will be all stocked up. Certainly gets me in the mood for Christmas, going through the gift guide, I’ve been doing it for over 20 years!

Has anyone heard anymore about what day Argos 3 for 2 is on?

Tonight is all about Ebay listing for me. I need some motivation, I absolutely hate it.
  • weeclick I'd expect to pay a lot more than 99p for a Pandora bracelet with five charms, worry not! In fact, I sold one charm for £20 (a duplicate present) and a leather Pandora bracelet for £30 (worth £40-45) on Gumtree - very easy and it meant the buyer got to check them out and see that they were genuine before. I'm too scared to tot up how much mine is worth - 12 charms and still going strong

My mum went to Matalan today and said they have about 75% of their Christmas stuff out now! I've also just been checking out the Debenhams Christmas section online, and am about to make a start on The White Company! People at work were talking about Christmas plans today, so I feel like we're not totally alone in our excitement :D
  • Seems I spoke too soon I've just had my sister on the phone in tears, I've convinced her to give it a couple more weeks. :( x

If it helps, my DD has been living in Rome for a month and is finding it hard. She speaks the language but has been craving company her own age. Uni is hard especially when you're so far away from home but your sister will be ok.

4 weeks in and I think DD will stay the duration of her intended (3 month stay): she's found a job and a bit of company so fingers crossed for her and your sister xx

Hi everyone - few more Christmas presents got on my side...

Also found some things in pound shop for the elf that will be visiting this year - a mini microwave and a tiny tea set.

WEE CLICK - congrats on new place - bet you and OH are happy its all coming together - be lovely to make this Christmas a special one.

    QUEENLIZARD45UK - Hi and welcome :D

FREESPIRIT - love the frame well done

MSGIGGLEWICK - loving the reindeer outfit - just so darn cute. giving me too many ideas now and not enough time to fit them all in. Hope your back feels better soon. back pain is not to be sniffed at.

    Great idea thanks. :T

Your frame looks amazing, I would love to have a go at something like that. I'll be searching for scrabble letters later I think! :rotfl:

Just as an alternative - I did this one last year and I just downloaded a scrabble font onto my word and then could print it on whatever coloured paper I wanted.
Was fiddly for getting them to stick but just means you can personalise it a little more...

(Sorry for the size of this - I'm still getting used to how this photo malarkey works on here )
