Lol I feel the same Lizzie. My OH is a teacher and has been off since the 19th. The kids too. On Monday they all go back to work/school and I am off that day. Looking forward to catching up with other chores and some craft work. Love them dearly, but we have spent the last few days in the house together, I need peace
Been trying to teach my 9yr old dd to knit. I'm not the best knitter and find it hard to teach. Jsut trying to get her to hold the needles right is hard. In the end she managed to cast on 30 stitches and complete 3 rows. It's meant to be a bag, but we will aim for a blanket for the elves lol:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

Happy New Year everyone! We had planned a quiet night in with a bottle of prosecco. However the night before a friend popped in "for half an hour" and stayed the whole evening lol. Anyway, her plans with another friend of ours fell through and so we ended up hosting them and the other girls' OH. we had great fun but I had too much wine and felt awful the next day, not used to partying anymore lol.
Nic, your windows are brilliant!
Good to see OMO and Nanamia on here xx
Packed the tree away and took some of our decs down today. Still got lights up though. Past two weeks have flown by, back to work Monday
Sold a couple of bits on Facebook today, £18. Then decided to buy a Thomas tank toy box, toy storage drawers, book storage and a lampshade for DS2 from a friend. £70. Don't know how I'm going to fit it all in
Goals for 2015:
1. Move house!
2. Have things to look forward to on the calendar for every school holiday, makes a massive difference to my outlook. My brother has just been selected for a job in Florida so hoping we can afford plane tickets.
3. Spend less, especially on grocery shopping.

Went out under cover of darkness tonight, our recycling bins are emptied tomorrow. Ours is packed! So took a bag down the road checking whose bins had a bit of space for bottles and tins. :rotfl: Felt so naughty- really don't know why- I wouldn't be bothered if someone put a few bits in mine when it's on the kerb lol.
Have also put a box of cardboard next to our bin, they will probably leave it but hoping the bin men are feeling generous. If not it can go straight in the empty bin.2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013
