nicki love the windows well worth the time and effort involved. what paints do you use? would love to have a go next yr as used clings again this yr but they never seem to stay up long.

Nic you have my sympathies its an awful position to be in and few people understand how hard it can be to deal with, mostly you get the the well its part of the job & you should be flattered hope the next few days aren't too bad.

b_e_g nice to see you back congrats on the weightloss

no plans for nye though prob stay up to see in the new yr if I can stay awake that long its been a very long and sleepless few days. Taz is finally starting to feel better thanks for all the well wishes.

haven't been that impressed by the sales online and from what I've heard the shops haven't really been much better?

may take the tree down later?not sure yet as was going to leave it up longer this yr but getting fed up with the cat keep flicking all the decs off or knocking it over he's even broken my new lights

CHRISSY i think i am going to have to save stamps this year, especially seen as nectar are halving their points and have stopped nectarads i will never get the same as this years again[/QUOTE]

I have ditched my Nectar card as you say its not worth it besides since I moved I'm closer to Tesco. It make sense to save stamps with them as the vouchers will also be sent out before Christmas.

We have had a massive sort out today and my OH has dropped a car full of things at the charity shop.

Over the new year I will be hopefully selling some stuff on Ebay and that will go towards DD's bag for her 18th.

Had a nice walk to Asda today with DD2, -part of my NY resolution is to walk more so started already- and bought some cool odds to go in DD1's "Sweet 16" hamper. I bought a cute mug for 50 pence with "happiness is home made" on it, so need to make a few home made things to go in the hamper, just to keep the theme going.
Also got a top for DS2's birthday, and a nice set for my Mum's birthday. After blowing all my Christmas cash I think I am going to try for at least 1 "no spend day" a week in the new year, although not sure if bus fare to Uni counts...I'm going to say no, and then I can go for 2 NSD's a week.
Back to tidying up and sorting to get us all ready for school/Uni next week.

    15 crafts for 2015 challenge.

  • Is it really sad that I'm quite excited over getting an `Xmas saver` badge :D

Tesco delivery has come into store so will probably collect that on Friday. Didn't go into town on Monday as it was so blooming cold and was put all this afternoon so may pop in for a wonder round tomorrow and see if there's anything reduced to next year and maybe spend some birthday vouchers.

Sorry to hear that there's lots of bugs going round. I'm semi thankful I have no small children to bring home germs from school etc but they all give them to mummy and daddy at work to pass on so I get them eventually!

I would like to wish everyone a Happy Healthy and Prosperous 2015.

I'm at work today but it's my last weekday shift as I finally move to weekends:T which means after today I'm not back at work until Jan 10th.

I was going to go to Asda after work but there isn't anything we need so I'm starting as I hope to go along through 2015 ,not going to the shops "just because".

What are your New Years Resolutions ?

    Mine are;

Only go shopping when I need to .
Stop procrastinating [a biggie for me always put things off]
Lose some weight [Going to try the 5.2 plan]
