Hi ladies
It's actually quite good weather here today but we've had a builder working on the roof so can't use my bathroom and have the blinds closed in the bedroom! I wanted to shower and do my hair this morning but he came early so will shower tonight.
I count calories (and try to get the right number from carbs, fat, protein etc) so I can eat what I want but just not as much of it. So we're having pie for tea and I'll also make a stew to reheat for tea tomorrow night.
I do definitely lose weight on it, except at the moment when I obviously haven't had enough fibre and things aren't um, functioning quite as well as they ought to.

If you have any dried apricots in, have a handful of those and plenty of water... and then go for a brisk walk.
It's worth keeping dried fruit and/or fibre supplements around for when this happens. If you travel a lot, the supplements are definitely a good way to get your body to adapt to the changes in timezone/environment/diet.0 -
Hello all,
Well been to supermarket tonight to get some fresh bits and pieces of fruit & veg and I'm starting the clean 9 aloe Vera detox plan on Monday for 9 days. Just taken my before pictures in gym crop top and shorts... Hmmm not great!!! Purely sugar eating really that has caused the weight but I am determind!!!!
Also have some classes booked at the gym also so feeling good today.
I agree with maman & silvasava I love scarves I feel they can really lift an outfit and your mood! They are a great accessory to lift even the plainest of outfits

I was in telco and the clothes look nice for the new season, which I may treat myself too in February of wages..
Tooties I hope you had a lovely birthday and pampered yourself

I will catch up and reply properly tomorrow but just diving in to say I'm officially pinning (Pinterest) Princess Kate Middletons style and my wardrobe will get overhauled (it's part there but y'know).
Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend xChristmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:

Welcome to the thread Juliapenguin
DD265 Glad your new boots have arrived. Hope the nails grow up soon, always best to start again I find to get them growing equal.
LL As you say, sometimes you need to fall of the wagon to prove to yourself that what your doing does work. I know when I drop in to unhealthier eating and drinking less water I know about it. I do need to go in to IKEA as haven’t been for a long while and there are some bits and bats I need, which won’t be cheaper from anywhere.
Maman It was a lovely evening. My mum had done an apple & raspberry crumble, brought an apple strudel and chocolate tart so everyone had lots of choice for pud too. Wedding plans are coming along really well. The marquee people came on Saturday and we have sorted what we want with that and sizing ect so the quote and drawing is due through today/tomorrow. Our florist came yesterday and we have arranged everything other than inside Church flowers (the church we are getting married in is the village where I grew up, my parents and lots of family still live and my mum & dad got married there, they do some flowers so I want to see what they do first then I can just add if we feel we need to). So far booked/ordered/got is: Church, marquee for reception, food for the day, welcome drinks, flowers, DJ, photographer, videographer, transport for from church to the reception (OH’s lorry – he is excited as his new one arrives in March!), my wedding dress and veil, hairdresser & makeup artist. Vases for the centrepieces and cake decorator is booked, I’m making the fruit cakes myself. I know what we are doing for the favours and other bits but I just need to start buying them. Suits for OH, dad’s and groomsmen we will go and look for next month/march as we will be hiring and I will go looking for bridesmaid dresses at a similar time. Everything is coming together really well. Save the dates have gone out and our friend works at a sign writers and they do leaflet printing and things too and he is going to print the rest of our wedding stationary hopefully (he did his own last year). Whoops sorry that was quite a fill in
That coat from Jackwills is lovely!!
Not much fabbing gone on here and this morning getting up for work was as hard as normal. I need to give myself a kick up the bottom :rotfl: and set myself a small job each morning to do I think. I'm skipping xbikes tonight as i'm still not 100% from my cold that re-appeared  so I thought an extra rest day and some cuddles with OH might help

Please don't do this!
It is a con and also dangerous, your body does not need detoxing, it has livers and kidneys to do that.
Just cut out sugars and refined foods and you will lose weight, properly.
These gimmick diets are designed purley to line the pocket of the agent who has sold it to you, I can bet your bottom dollar that they have asked you to become and agent and spun the millionaire tales!0 -
Up & 'At 'Em' this morning - washing going, bed stripped, only moisturiser & perfume at the moment but I've got to nip out so I will put on a bit of lippy & smart jackeT (and scarf!!)
Split my thumbnail yesterday so had to cut it really short - I've also broken a couple of nails where they get so brittle so a bit of TLC is needed for them over the next few weeks to get them looking anywhere decent.
I know we have Fabby Friday but how about Magnificent Monday to get us going for the week??Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0 -
Hi everyone,
Thank you for all the birthday and anniversary wishes from the other week. I have been ill for the past 10 days, so I'm catching up on all your fabbing.
When I emerged from bed after the worst couple of days I made as much effort as I could with the fabbing. My skin was so dry though lipstick literally peeled off! So I didn't look amazing, but I didn't use illness as an excuse to not bother at all.
Hope everyone is OK, I'm really happy to see the sun out today, I'm not quite well enough to get out for a walk, but I have been able to get my nicer clothes washed so I can look nice when I have to venture out!0 -

Actually they haven't and I got it really really cheaply as they have stopped doing it. So no tales or agent chat ( sorry to disappoint) I have lots of healthy eating planned around this and it is completely safe as I am not following to the T.
In the western world we eat far too much and also far too much of the wrong foods hence she paramaceutical company's make a fortune of people being 'sick' nothing I am doing is dangerous and there is no harm in cutting down to re-education your palette on real food and health again.
Of to make my green juice for lunch.... Food for nice salAds & soup the rest of the week and plenty veggies in too.0
