have found another facial moisturiser, which don't particularly like, its a collagen one, and feels a bit heavy. However seems as though i'm unable to waste anything, I will use very liberally twice a day, so I can start to use my new one I bought with DD the other day.
Rubies Sometimes when I've bought a moisturiser that feels too heavy or thick I've mixed in a thinner one - it seems to work OK. In fact I have a pump botttle in the bathroom thats got all my old sunscreens and anything that I dont like the feel of mixed together & I use that daily. Funnily enough it still has some sunscreen protection & seems to moisturise very well - waste not want not!
I finished off a jar of moisturiser this morning. It was a night cream that I didn't get on with (never remembered to use:o) so I've been rubbing it into elbows and knees after my shower.
Done all the basics this morning and I'll do make up later before I go out.
Have achieved quite a lot this week: mixture of decluttering and 'work' for my part time/voluntary job. Bin men came today, first 'normal' collection since Christmas so delighted that all the stuff I threw out has gone, very therapeutic. I've got a bag for the CS so will take that later.
Trying to be good today and drink plenty of water. I find that if I have a sports bottle with me at the computer I'll drink it almost absent mindedly. Has to be good for skin and cuts down caffeine.
Hope you all enjoy Fab Friday whatever you're up to.:)

Happy Fab Friday Everyone.
I remembered it was Fab Friday as I got changed after Yoga ready for work this afternoon so have chosen a brightly coloured outfit which will do for going out in tonight too. It's a button front dress with shocking pink splashy flowers on a white background with red and black leaves. It has a little round collar, scoop neck and fits into the waist then flares out to just below the knee. I've teamed it with a short sleeved shocking pink cardigan, black and silver jewellery and black opaques. I shall probably wear my knee high black boots too but am still in my indoor shoes at present.
I've had Yoga followed by coffee with friends this morning, then as I said work this afternoon. This evening I'm going to a fundraising event which is basically a lot of ladies gathered together for a meal and chat in someones house. We have to pay £10 a ticket and there are various raffles etc too. I've had a light lunch in preparation - just prawns and chopped tomato - as I went last year and there was a massive lasagne with salad and lots of yummy puddings to eat. My healthy eating is still going well and I am hoping to achieve my target of 6lbs off by the end of next week.
I try to drink plenty over a day and find very weak no sugar blackcurrant squash goes down better than plain water. I keep a bottle in the fridge at work and keep replenishing my glass.
Have just looked at the time and need to go. The other day I suddenly realised that I only had 10 minutes to get to work - three quarters of a mile away!! I made it- but had to resort to running 100 steps and walking 200 steps very briskly most of the way. Running with handbag and in boots and winter coat isn't quite as easy as my morning runs in the appropriate gear I must say.

Happy Fab Friday ladies, I will be doing something later once I have all the work done and out the way!
LL - Aww you must not be a million miles from me then. I used to go to secondary school at Wirksworth and i'm from a little village a 15minutes drive from there, I have now moved to a hamlet which again is around a 10/15minute drive is a slightly more Buxton direction :rotfl: I had the heating on and our log burner was roaring away so it was quite toasty in my pjs and a hoodie
rubies I didn't know that about hair oil, I will have to let my mum know as she sometimes use the loreal one!!
beluga what is the picture/design you have tattooed? I have a flower vein thing on my foot which I had 5 years ago. I do love it even now. It fades a little though with socks rubbing it, so in time I reckon I will have to get it re done.
maman It is defiantly Sassoon serum I use before blow drying if you wanted, or anyone else, wants to give it a whirl.
Quick moan - I am all congested again  I must be missing something in my diet as I don't eat perfectly (working on getting almost there) but I do eat a good range of fruit, veg and everything. My almost MIL is picking me some de-congestion tablets up to see if they help.
Lunch time then back to finishing the paperwork off!!
xxChristmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:

Morning everyone!
Tooties - Happy birthday! hope you had a wonderful day
Newthrift - My tattoo's a Chinese style dragon, it's about A4 size. The other day I had it coloured, so now it's purple and blueCan't wait for the summer so I can show it off!
I've had a busy week, so last night I had an early night, slept right through and didn't even notice DH stumble in at 6 this morning! Yesterday I went to a new group called Confidence and Creativity. Was really nervous ( I hate meeting new people and new situations) but it went OK, well enough that I'll go again next week
Today I'm off to the drop in centre for the afternoon, that's usually fun. Painted my nails last night so will try to find something pretty to wear and make an effort.
Happy weekend everyone!0 -

Wow that's big!! Like the sound of your new group you must tell us about it.
Sorry I missed you birthday yesterday tooties.:)
I'm off to lunch and then theatre this afternoon. Fabbed up in a White Stuff velvet skirt and soft jumper. I'm going to wear my (brown) boots but really need to get a black pair.
Bright but cold here. We're taking the scenic route (countryside rather than motorway) to enjoy the sunshine.
Have a good day all.0 -
Well - no scraping yesterday as DH has done his back in so I was needed to minsiter the ibruprofen & hotty bottles. I did whizz round to the shops, bank & post office for an hour or so but (hangs head in shame) did not do any fabbing - just slunk as quickly as possible. Not going out today as he's still suffering so I'm going to do some bits in the garden while its sunny. Just moisturiser & perfume but I WILL fab tomorrow - I promise!Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0
