Like LB I too have been a domestic goddess (do need clean out my chickens though) and don't seem to have time for both, always do house before me, then run out of time.
Right I have 40 mins to get fab for my date night tonight with my gorgeous hubby.
Not got a clue what to wear, will start with quick shower, hair dry and see where we go from there.Loving life to the full, just need purse full too

Another one reeling from the shock of getting on the scales!!:o
Oh well, I know what I am working with now - just have to get on and sort myself out.....
Tomorrow, I am clearing out my wardrobes - I don't need to have all the things in there that I have so I am going to be totally ruthless and remove anything that I haven't worn in the past 12 months!
I am booking an eyebrow wax next week - I will have to do it when I have transport available, but it is something which I need to get done as it makes me feel a whole lot better

There's no way I'm getting on the scales!
I always go by how my clothes fit - it's less painful

I'm going by how my clothes don't fit
I do my own eyebrows and have done for a good few years now but I'm a convert to a bit of eyebrow powder/liner after my sister showed me how to apply it a few weeks ago.
Can anyone recommend a good nail hardener I could use? Nails are a bit soft after having acrylics on for so long.Save £12K challenge 2015 # 173£0.00/£10,0000 -
Hi
Could I join you all please.
My top goals are as follows:
1. lose weight - joining sw tuesday night.
2. take off make up every night
3. use moisturiser every day
4. manicure my nails every week including a clear/nude polish.
That's enough to get started with for January.0 -
Hi Everyone,
I would like to join you please.
I have 'lurked' for a while but haven't really had the time to make a proper commitment as I have been juggling a stressful job and a family.
I have made significant changes regarding work and will now be doing less and having less responsibility. This means I should have some time for myself on the evenings/ in the day and I want to make sure I use the time to get myself back on track.
I have recently started doing yoga and this has really helped me de-stress . I have a membership to a local yoga studio which is unlimited so I am trying to go three to four times a week. I would like to increase this but I think this is realistic for the time being.
I also used to do running and have done some park runs and a couple of 10kms, I am going to start again and sign up to do a 10k in April with a friend. I have arranged to run with her in the morning.
I have loads of lovely clothes but most of them don't fit. I really don't want to spend money on buying bigger clothes which means at the moment I have only one or two decent outfits I keep wearing on rotation. Nobody seems to have noticed but I do want to have more choice, especially when it warms up.
I have a good stash of make up and toiletries and I am going to be more consistent using them and commit to not buying anymore for the year. I can do my own gel nails at home because I have a lamp but I haven't done this for ages. I am going to do them tomorrow.
I also want to set a goal for weight loss. I have a juicer so I am going to make juices for breakfast and the odd lunch. I will weigh myself in the morning and then set a target for the end of January.
Anyway. I have realised writing this that I have everything I need to be more glamorous. There is no need to buy anything or spend any money. I just need to get on with doing it rather than buying things or talking about it.
I will set some goals tomorrow.
But for now - I will run tomorrow, get on the scales, do my nails and make a juice.

Hello again everyone :j
So lovely to hear from you all again after Christmas, and to meet some newbies!
LL - your post about goals for the month really inspired me - I'm off to make a list later
Big step for us this month is starting IVF, we have our first clinic in a couple of weeks' time, when we get all the instructions and the drugs. I'm a bit overwhelmed by the prospect, it'll be nice to put it into perspective with other goals.
Other than that, I'm doing a bit of early spring cleaning, trying to take my mind off the return to work on Monday! Finally debt free!! March 2018 :j0 -
Evening all. I've had a pretty good day today. Started with a run followed by a bath and have dried and straightened my hair. I have moisturised and put make up and perfume on.
I've looked into slimming world as I like a lot of the recipes and have bought myself some nice ingredients to make something tomorrow.
I am taking each day as it comes and have decided I'm not going to beat myself up if I forget to do something or have a pj day.
My main aims are to take more care of myself by pampering and exercising and watching what I eat. I'm also doing dry January.0 -
Evening all,
I just got caught up with the thread. I have been really busy decluttering.
Hubby and I went shopping today and i made a real effort to smile at people, by the end of the asda run i am normally quite grumpy but all that smiling left me feeling great.
I bought a new skirt and handbag today using vouchers they are both a bit more glam than i would normally go for so this fabbing must be working on me.
I have been keeping up with my hygiene and my deo and perfume not to mention the moisuriser and body butter. I am discovering that fabbing takes time.
I have been using nivea on my face and neck but i think it doesn't feel quite right, it feels heavy or something so i will try another moisteuriser for the next few days.
I have to admit that i am enjoying the fabbing and the me time.
regards:j0
