    I thought just the same!!:)

There's an interesting article in my paper this morning (not really read it yet) using FAB as an acronym for Fifty and Beyond, I thought it fitted many on here. For those it doesn't then I applaud you for taking yourself in hand before you feel old and frumpy.

Sorry to hear your news too sweetcheeks.

LL is right that we can all slip off the wagon at times but there's always a space to climb back on and willing hands to pull you up!!:A

It seems to be a time for loosing dear ones, I knew when Mum phoned me at 08:10 yesterday that it could not be good news, her big brother and only sibling, my dear uncle died in the night. We will miss him a great deal, but concentrating on the positives in that 5.1/2 years ago we thought he would be lucky to survive a month; he was almost 86 and had been living in his own home and looking after himself until Saturday and only spent 2 nights in hospital before he left us forever. He would have been content with that and now he has joined my dear auntie.

Trying to keep up with the fabbing, need to paint toe nails, did the pedi this morning, but ran out of time for the painting:(

Ladies, I have some wonderful news and it is so welcome after the all the gloom and doom.

DS1 and the lovely M have set a date for their wedding, next May (2016)

I am so happy and so thrilled, I did shed a little tear that OH won't be able to dance at their wedding - he was famous for his dancing.......a bit like the character in Four Weddings and a Funeral:rotfl: his favourite was Dancing Queen when we had to suffer the obligatory Abba impersonation.......

    Anyway I digress...

So ladies I have just over a year to lose weight and get in shape. I am Mother of the Groom and I will not let my family or myself down by looking like a bag lady..

I mean business now........:D so it's back on the wagon, no ifs, no buts.

Funeral booked, unfortunately no slots available till 13th April but on a positive note it gives the Belgian side of the family time to make travel arrangements etc.

Just got the wake venue to finalise and then we are about done. I think I shall do my own flowers again for mum and then we just need to sort out the music and do a bit of fine tweaking.

I've booked a physio appt for Monday, I'm very stiff with a lot of neck pain so am ready for a good pummelling....

Tomorrow (today) I'm going to take time out for me, just a bit of pottering about and catching up with myself, a bit of gardening and a bit of fabbing.
