Morning everyone
Everybody is at home today, so all have been helping me (except DS3 who is still asleep and feeling unwell)
Monday Mayhem..- [STRIKE]Make sure you have all the shopping you need to take you through to next week.. [/STRIKE][STRIKE]
milk and bread especially! It is a Bank Holiday on Thursday so some shops are
not open.. the big supermarkets are though.[/STRIKE] - Make sure the last of the presents are wrapped I will not have people sitting up until 5am on Christmas morning wrapping!
- [STRIKE]Have we located stockings?[/STRIKE]
- S&S the kitchen
- [STRIKE]S&S the bathroom/s and loo's[/STRIKE]
- Clean the oven and hob ready for your feast!
- Clean the fridge to accommodate you bounty of food
- Change any bedding you need to get washed before the fat guy arrives.. and I do not mean the OH/parent/ etc
- [STRIKE]Make sure your timetable for Christmas Day is sorted and everyone knows their [/STRIKE][STRIKE]
tasks.. who is spud peeling? Who is stuffing the bird etc..? And for those who
aren't spending the day at home could you do some of the help where you are?[/STRIKE] - [STRIKE]Catch up on the laundry[/STRIKE] .. ironing is tomorrows job!
- Phone someone you 'forgot' to post a card/present to in time.. just so they know you've not forgotten them... - NA
- Spend at least half an hour doing something for yourself.. reading.. relaxing.. goggling... remember you are important too.
- Change pet bedding and wash their blankies etc.. we don't want them putting you off your christmas sprouts!
- Dust round the whole downstairs
- do a crazy HHC decluttering downstairs
- Have a crazy HHC decluttering downstairs
- Children... quick.. tidy your rooms you don't want Santa thinking you don't look after your stuff.. he might not leave any presents!
- [STRIKE]Vacuum through downstairs.. and the stairs![/STRIKE]
- Mop the kitchen floor!
- Get rid of the washing up.. delegation is good!
- Iron yesterdays wash mountain
- [STRIKE]Vacuum through upstairs.. and the stairs![/STRIKE]
- Mop the kitchen floor!

- Get out any special christmas crockery and make sure it is all clean and nice to use.. placemats etc too!- NA
- Prepare a list for that last second shopping
- Declutter your desk.. if it is anything like mine it is full of receipts and invoices!
- Have a skim through the TV guide and decide what you want to watch.. it saves missing bits of stuff if you know what is on and when!! Don't forget to make time for Queenie!
- Toy boxes can be banished upstairs! -NA
- Wash any soft furnishings in need of freshening up
- Tidy up coats and shoes and suchlike
- WRAP WRAP WRAP!
- Make a note of when the binmen are coming!!!
- Sort out the plan for christmas eve.. shop runs, present drop offs etc....
- Spend half an hour doing NOTHING!!.. absolutely nothing!!!! Just sit.. and relax with a drink and a treat!

Just back from lovely party at SW via town and now have two bottles Prosecco in bag! - one for us and one for ndn!!

HELP!! I lost the morning, if anyone finds a spare 4 hours can they PM them over to me:D
went docs with Mil, then took parcel round DD3s then went for a mooch round Ts with her, then back to hers for a cuppa only just got home. luckily sptted it was raining so DS2 got a quick phone call to rescue the washing and he was in for the postman so saves a trip to the sorting office as 2 parcels came. right this afternoon i have ironing to do, pressies to wrap and fruit and veg to buy. DD2 just rang shes coming round early tomorrow and bringing a vat of vegan christmas soup so thats pre christingle lunch sorted:T

Well I have had a very busy day but the house is looking clean and tidy (apart from hoovering top floor- but I can live with that!)
We are all packed and ready to gone. Just waiting for hubby to get home so we can get on the road. He is due any minute!
I am looking forward to coming home to a clean and tidy house!
