Absolutely, you do tend to get a much better experience with Apple than any other manufacturer in terms of repair, replacement and after sales support.
    - especially if you buy from CPW. How much this this 'support' will cost you if you want it to last more than a pathetic year?

Nothing, the sale of goods act is free. Or you just go to the Apple and they'll tend to help you out regardless of whether your warranty has expired or not. That's the sort of service you get with Apple ☺

Good luck with enforcing SoGA when dealing with CPW or any other retailer that are known to do their best to fob you off. Jumping through hoops hardly can be called "better experience with ... than any other manufacturer in terms of repair, replacement and after sales support".

I'd buy directly from Apple rather than CPW. Then you can be assured of the best service.

Yes, but the OP asked about CPW, not Apple.

Well the OP is going to have the same issue regardless of which phone they buy then.

How come? Sony's warranty is 2 years and doesn't require any jumping skills after the first year. And CPW's own warranty matches it.

And after the second year how much jumping will you be doing with CPW?

Well, at least this is after the second year, not the first.
And after 2 years Apple are unlikely to do anything for free even if you buy from them directly. The cost is likely to be the same regardless of where iPhone was bought.

Two years is a reasonable term for smartphones to last without faults. 1 year isn't.

Absolutely, but then you wouldn't buy a worse phone just because it has a longer warranty. That's not very money saving!
