£28 for a mid to high end handset is cheap, buy both.
Of course though I guess the price you are quoting is married to an airtime agreement.
    As for the handsets themselves?
The age old android v apple debate will go on a little longer.
Technically, the Z3 is more than likely the better, the 5C has the more yoof appeal though.

Personally I'd say the iPhone would be better, simply because I find iOS far superior to Android as an operating system.
  • Apples and pears.

Android moves along at a quicker pace than IOS (competition between the manufacturers making specs better etc) and so phones can become behind the requirements for the OS and certain apps a little quicker than on IOS (generally as Apple control the hardware and OS the phones get the latest version a little longer and as apps only have to run on a limited range of models they are sometimes optimised better).

Saying that the Z3 has good enough specs to keep up for a while yet.

Get whichever you prefer! The Z3 is bigger, that is a pro for some and a con for others. Unless you must have iTunes integration, or want to root your handset on Android both are good phones. IOS is generally easier to learn your way around and can be a bit more stable, Android is more open and customisable.

When I metioned technically I'm on about the two devices as pure hardware.
Camera, display , processor, battery , memory etc.

Personal preference beyond that OS asthetics etc is naturally down to personal preference.

Absolutely, and it makes what the hardware spec is essentially redundant anyway, as what's important is how the device works and operates, not what the bits inside are like.

I would choose the Android - far superior OS in my opinion ;)

Can I throw the warranty into the argument?

Yes, that is why I wrote "Personal preference beyond that OS asthetics etc is naturally down to personal preference."
Some will prefer one to the other for their own personal reasons. Some will favour apple some will favour android, both parties debating why their choice is better for them.

Absolutely, you do tend to get a much better experience with Apple than any other manufacturer in terms of repair, replacement and after sales support.
