You could use them to make Christmas decorations - where you slice them and dry them in the oven. You can then add them to garlands or pot pourri0

Great idea to dry them and make them up for xmas garlands - combine them with cinnamon sticks too for lovely smelling garlandsSaving in my terramundi pot £2, £1 and 50p just for me! :j0

my mum makes really nice mince pies with orange rind in the pastry - couldmake now and freeze til xmas?Proud to be dealing with my debts!0

You could make some Microwave orange curd, just swap the lemons with oranges!
3oz butter
8oz sugar
3 eggs
finely grated rind & juice of 2 lemons
Melt the butter in a 2 pint bowl on high for about 1 1/2 minutes. Beat together the sugar, eggs, lemon rind & juice then stir into the melted butter, mixing well. Cook on high for about 3 mins or until the mixture coats the back of a spoon (Stir briskly every 30 seconds as the mixture starts to thicken to keep it smooth). Pour into small warmed jars, cover and keep in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. Makes about 1lb.Dum Spiro Spero0 -
The garlands thing could be good because I have some cinamon sticks.
Has anyone made them before? How long and at what temp do I cook the slices, (electric oven) how thick should they be? Yep I am clueless, I'll do a google if no-ones sure but tried and tested methods would be better.0 -
Or you could peel them and then chop into cubes - soak in amaretto (or similar) and then layer in a pyrex bowl - one layer orange, one crushed amaretto bisquit till nearly full and put a layer of whipped cream on top
serve
