I have 10 oranges that have not been eaten and the skins are just starting to turn wrinkly.....
as the kids are away for the weekend..been trying to get on top of things.... cleaning..... .......etc... and tomorrow its a day of batch cooking.... and trying to use up, and make things with anything in the fridge and the fruit/veg rack... that is desperate to be eaten..... before it walks to the bin itself ..lol.....
any ideas...????
i have plenty of meat in the freezer so dont know whetheri could do some sort of sauce to go with meat, and freeze it for when i am ready to use it ?
any ideas.. would be great......thanks....Work to live= not live to work0 -
Why not juice them, and freeze the juice in an ice cube tray? You can add the defrosted cubes to cakes-especially Christmassy recipes. Or use them to make marinades for meat and chicken. Or just drink it0

Orange Drizzle cake. Use the same method as lemon drizzle cake but oranges instead. It is yum, gets better over a couple of days if you don't eat it all in one sitting, and would (I imagine) freeze very well (I've never had any left to try that! You could easily use 3 oranges per cake, but if you have a mixer could treble up on quantities, so batch make 3 cakes with 2 for the freezer and one for tea tomorrow.0

Hi
I've got 6 oranges sitting in my fruit bowl that are past their best. What can I do with them apart from marmalade?Banana LoversBuy your bananas in bunches of 5 on Sunday. Then arrange them in order of ripeness and write a day of the week on each banana in felt pen, Monday on the ripest, Friday on the greenest to save time making those decisions on a hectic weekday morning0 -
