Hugs Ionafan, I know how hard it is supporting a friend through treatment.

Evening all. I've had a quick skim read so welcome back HelenJelly, welcome to newbies, Ionafan - hope you feel better soon, Narco - glad that DH is still making good progress and LW - glad you've got canine company for Xmas. Apologies to anyone I've missed.

Now, if you don't want a lecture, please skip the next bit:

Today was the inquest and obviously there were lots of tears. What I want to say is, is that if you ever know of anyone (even someone you don't like) who is threatening to harm themselves, please please tell someone - their family, doctor or ultimately the Police, because there will be people who do care about them and who's lives will be changed dramatically when they are no longer there, and sometimes they possibly just need to be reminded of this. Also, this being MSE, there is always a way to recover from problem debt, please don't feel alone or despair should be the message.

    Ok, lecture over.

Obviously no flying done here today, and once I was home, I went to bed as I was exhausted with it all and not being well. Tomorrow I will get back to the paid stuff and the flying.

    Night night all. xx
Spend less now, work less later.

    Hello to Youngmummy

YL HJ and Dusty - Teenager boys can be such a nightmare.Good luck!!

Thanks, my elder boys are 18 and 20 so DS3 has been reminded that I have experience of teenagers, plus I've invigilated exams for years. He's been informed that I don't take back chat from anybody apart from Ofsted :D

I've written my posting cards to pop in the box tomorrow. I'll write the hand delivery ones tomorrow.

Still trying to think of a present for my sis to get DS3. I will food shop tomorrow and I still need a couple of trips out to get a few more presents.

    (((Hugs))) Jazee.

I was totally overwhelmed by tiredness this afternoon, so I had a long soak with a good book and pottered around tidying up before catching up with some TV. We've got a builder popping in tomorrow morning to look at the attic so we'll have to be up and about at a reasonable hour. Erk.

Just wanted to say, Elastic, I love your posts - you always sound so bright and full of energy. Healing vibes, Natty, and any other injured and poorlies. Long, long ago puberty was bad enough for me as a girlie, and I've always thought it must be much worse, and horrible, for boys. Hugs for mums coping with one going through it.
    Better is good enough.

  • Morning everyone

Running a bit late this morning, mainly due to doodling about on here instead of getting on!

Thanks for comments about DS2. I think he is getting into trouble with his teachers at school for not putting enough effort in. I need to get to the bottom of this after Christmas. Advice welcome.

DS1 is going to do a work placement today. He rarely goes anywhere without one of us and I am a nervous wreck. I am not one for mollycoddling him but I really want this to work out for him. I dreamt about it all night!

Right got to move. Have a good Thursday all x
