Welcome Home Helen Jelly. I'm pleased to hear that Mr Jelly is well again; it was an awful time for you both, I recall.

    GWS wishes Natty

Good to hear Mr Narco continues to make progress; different painkillers suit different people, so it's good that they can give him Tramadol. I can't take that as it doesn't play nicely with Moclobemide, but I'm fine on morphine, thankfully – horses for courses, I guess.:o

Wednesday - Say your prayers today is all Upstairs I could say I'm taking today off, as we live in a bungalow....,:rotfl:
    15 minutes .....
Declutter floors - either put away or into a box or bin bag so at least it's tidy They're not cluttered to start with!! So nyer!!:D
Change hoover bag and filters Bagless, and the filters are not due for washing yet (I have them on a schedule in my PDA)
    30 minutes to spare....
Hoover/sweep/mop all upstairs All hoovered when Dave went home; bathroom has also been done, so just S&S today
Clear and wipe the window ledges Will do tomorrow, when it's light and I can see properly (we only have low wattage lights in bedroom and spare room)
    Got an hour....
Strip, wash and remake all beds This is a scheduled Saturday task as I need Mr LW's help to do it
HH Wrap or HHI N/A – no presents, and no ironing either
Dust all dusty bits WIP – getting there gradually

    Extras
Water your tree - house plants if your tree is artificial! N/A – artificial tree and no houseplants
Check any bills that need paying, allow extra time for the bank holidays All on DD, money all earmarked a month ahead of ourselves
Do some baking Nothing needed right now; I made bread yesterday, and we have some cakes in the tin for Mr LW's lunch box

Actually I'm glad not to have to do much today; we were at the cinema last night (new Hobbit film) and I'm totally cream crackered today. Any outing leaves me drained next day, and it was absolutely f-f-f-freezing in the auditorium, I think someone had been a bit too enthusiastic with the air conditioning controls. Mr LW was shivering, too!

Ronnie the long-haired Jack Russell has arrived for his stay - he's here til 6th January.:)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Meal plan and shopping list to do - procrastinating here

    I'll join you procrastinating.

[strike]Millie dog to groom (she ran off earlier).[/strike]
    [strike]More cards to write[/strike]
    Clean fridge/freezer
[strike]Empty vacuum cleaners and give them a quick clean with an anti bac wipe.[/strike]

I'll do those after tea I think. I'm in the middle of cooking it.

Worked all day today. Picked ds1 up from school and then went swimming. OH is trying o make up for being a grumpy g*t and hoovered the kitchen floor and left the kitchen tidy before he went to work. (I did get a bit cross with him yesterday as I has swept and mopped all downstairs and then he walked in with muddy trainers on! Gggrrr! He hadn't even noticed!)

Got a cracking headache so not running tonight but not sure how much I will get done tonight.

Here is my list and I will carry over the rest until tomorrow

    Hhi x 3
    Mop kitchen floor
Meal plan until 23rd using as much stuff from fridge/freezer as possible

YL - my son has just turned 12 and he's suddenly got very hormonal :[ He's usually the happiest lad in the world and now we have bouts of stropping and crying [can't quite believe the crying coming from him] other than probs at school etc could it be his age - aren't children hard work sometimes - as well as a joy obviously :]

Housework - degunked the bath plug hole - gave the dog a bath today and noticed the water wasn't draining very quickly so sorted that out :D

This evening - trip to MrT I think :[
Projects made for craft fair - 40 :)

    Main bedroom Done!

This morning I took DD and DS2 outlet shopping. They were very successful, finding some fabulous bargains. I came home with precisely nothing. :D

Home to pack up parcels for DS1 before the 3pm deadline, and a late lunch, quick trip to supermarket, then stripped bed, and vacuumed. No possibility of tidying, as bedroom looks like an explosion in santa's workshop. Or possibly Steptoe's yard.

I have sorted out the last two card and letters, and four presents for colleagues. Then tea and feet up, really needed a rest!

Natty hoping you are feeling better very soon.

Welcome back to helen jelly and welcome to Judi and youngmummy.
Glad to hear that you've got company for the holiday season, LW.

I have had a quiet day - just felt blergh all morning so spent most of the afternoon asleep on the sofa. Still not at my brightest now, but in the past four hours I have managed to pop to the florist's, deliver some cards, take more soup to my friend, cook a meal for us, and defrost and sort the freezer in the utility again. I need to boost my GUAG for tomorrow, taking my friend to see the specialist nurse at the hospital, then again on Friday when she goes for her chemo.
