I wasn't wanting to risk cooking the shoes.....not worth it given the road shoes are damaging my foot at the moment!
Need to sort out packing my stuff this evening as I'm doing an over night at work tomorrow (yay free dinner and breakfast before the tri).
Got both my sister and a friend coming to see me at work tomorrow evening so that'll be interesting, sister will be staying over night with me must remember to check that both beds are made up at some point before she arrives. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I wasn't thinking about turning it up to gas mark 11. You'll have to learn the art of Oven-fu and be one with your kitchen appliances...scubaangel wrote: »Need to sort out packing my stuff this evening as I'm doing an over night at work tomorrow (yay free dinner and breakfast before the tri).
Have you put your carb orders in?scubaangel wrote: »Got both my sister and a friend coming to see me at work tomorrow evening so that'll be interesting, sister will be staying over night with me must remember to check that both beds are made up at some point before she arrives.

Friend is just dropping some stuff off she brought down with her after TM as I didn't have space in my cabin bag. My sister is taking part but in a different event on Sunday, it'll be her first tri so she's nervous, plus she's borrowing my bike after I finish the bike leg of my triathlon so she wants to try it out before hand.
My oven and I have a perfectly good relationship - I rarely turn it on and it in turn rarely burns my dinner. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

A wise decision.scubaangel wrote: »My oven and I have a perfectly good relationship - I rarely turn it on and it in turn rarely burns my dinner.
I use my oven in a similar fashion, and it only burns my dinner if I forget to set an alarm. It would be nice if I could cook properly...
You looking to meet someone who has a black-belt in oven submission?"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Whats this meet someone you speak of?
I'm back quite firmly in the perfectly content to be on my own and not have to deal with any one else in my space mindset again, probably won't last but given the chances of meeting someone are slim to none at work and the rest of the time I'm running/cycling/swimming or out doing SE work on myown chances are equally slim.
Aside from that I already have two oven control black belts in my life - the Chefs at work, and they cause me far fewer problems than any unspecified other ever could! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

The mindset? Because occasionally loneliness kicks in and I miss the things that come with not being single - hugs, being able to cuddle up on the sofa, going out on a hike with someone etc without it being one of the girls.
Anyhoo triathlon done. I was aiming to do it in 2 hours or under and did it in 2 hours 28 seconds. Swim was bang on my target pace from last year, bike and run were a little slower than I was hoping for (5 and 3 mins slower than last year) but more training will sort that out for the next one(s) in September.
Got home, showered and had a nice 3 hour snooze. Currently got a pizza in the oven and then will try to get a hair brush through my hair and probably go back to snoozing ont he sofa in front of trashy tv/have myself a film evening. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Yes, there is that in it - isn't there? And of course someone actually interested in how your day went, whereas I've found when you're single, people line up to not give a flying fart about your day... :rotfl:scubaangel wrote: »Anyhoo triathlon done. Well you were complaining you were having so very little time to train, so that's a simple way to improve.scubaangel wrote: »Got home, showered and had a nice 3 hour snooze.
If I'd done a triathlon, you could wake me next week... :rotfl:scubaangel wrote: »Currently got a pizza in the oven and then will try to get a hair brush through my hair and probably go back to snoozing ont he sofa in front of trashy tv/have myself a film evening.

It's my brain that makes me do these things, it deserves all the torture it can get!
I had planned to cycle to the pool for a gentle swim after work this afternoon but given I've just got home and made a brew to have with lunch and it's suddenly not a bright sunny day out I think I might skip that plan in favour of another evening lying on the sofa being lazy. Will swim straight from work tomorrow though as Tuesday is the one day that the pool isnt open early evening so I either have a lunchtime/afternoon session to get there or the late evening session.
I then want to swim at least once more before Friday as I'm off in to London to do the Great London swim on Saturday morning. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Be kind to your brain. It stops he top of your head from being flat. Which can be unsightly...scubaangel wrote: »I think I might skip that plan in favour of another evening lying on the sofa being lazy.
