More payments today. Have now paid £1493.38/£9139.48.
I've set up automatic payments so a little bit gets paid every day. Very satisfying to see it get whittled down!
Well done! Make sure you don't over-commit with the automatic payments. It is satisfying though! I like drawing graphs in Excel showing debt reducing over time, but I'm particularly sad...

2 of my monthly payments gone so far, £260 off the car and £118 off the loan. Have money put aside to pay another chunk off the loan but won't do it until further in the month just in case.
Found that if I overpay by £150 a month so a total of £268 a month off the loan, it will reduce the term by 3 months per 1 month period! Eeee!£1k emergency fund (#33) £140/£1000 10.4%

Is there room for another one?
Although my debt stretches much further than this, but I'd love to clear £2500 by Christmas!! 0 -
I'm tired, frustrated nd angry at work, and broke til the 27th. Bah. At least I've got plenty of chocolate left over from christmas to get me through this nightmare:rotfl:0

Hi, can I join again, please? Miscalculated the debt last time around, so not making the same mistake this time. We have (yikes!)

Well I've decided to pay off the lowest balanced credit card first. I'll be paying off the 2nd one by the end of February (determined to!) so it's not going to make that much difference with interest rates.
If I manage to get rid of some of the junk (I mean priceless treasures that multiple people will want to enter a bidding war for :rotfl:) then there's a strong possibility I'll be able to clear one card before payday on 30th meaning I'd be able to throw everything at the 2nd card and then focus on the other stuff!
Anyway, rambling aside....

Ha ha, that's a good idea, I love an Excel graph, I do!
I'm not too concerned about overcommitting; I fire money into my savings account every day too, so if I do get a bit over-enthusiastic I can move money from there. Plus I can pause or reschedule any transfers at any time.
My automatic payment today has taken my total to £1527.59/£9139.48.0 -
Updated my sig as car payment and normal loan payment have gone out. Hoping to see that number start shooting down as the months roll on!
