No payments for me next week as I'll be using it as spending money on my wee holiday at the end of the month.
I also changed my fee-paying bank account to a free one this week when I realised I'd be paying less charges for my overdraft on top of saving the monthly fee! looking forward to changing my spreadsheet to reflect this too
Total debt at LBM = £4861.03

Making a start at long last. Won't be able to make much impact until I go back to work in March.
Today paid catalogue and credit card, minimum payments plus a bit. I don't include the regular payment to catalogue as that covers the interest on all monthly payments so the amount that actually comes off debt today is:

Argh! Anyone who remembers - I posted earlier in the thread about looking at new sofas and deciding that we would wait until we had saved the money for it.
Today I've gone and dropped a bowl of tomato pasta all over our cream sofa and it looks horrendous. Must settle for a throw over it until we have saved enough to replace.....- [STRIKE]Credit Card: £2,989 / £2,989[/STRIKE]
- Bank Loan: £12,000 / £14,000

No advice on how to clean it but maybe head over to the Old Style board. They are very wise over there and might have a way to get the stain out for you.
We have throws on our sofas. They also make it easier to clean when the kids drop food on them. The throw can then just go in the washer.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

Grrrrrrrrrr ! Who'd have thought it would be so damn difficult to obtain a credit report from Equifax and then cancel the subscription.
Yesterday I spent 20 minutes on the phone to cancel the subscription and the guy on the phone was like a robot just trying to force subscriptions on to me. What part of "Please cancel all my subscriptions" do they not understand !!
Now today my OH has tried to call and cancel her subscription too and is going through the same issues as I have had. When she thought they had cancelled everything she then got an email saying she had signed up for Equifax Identity Watch.
Why do these companies make it so hard to cancel a simple subscription !!

Sorry everyone just needed to vent my spleen !0
