I'm so determined to be debt free by Christmas I've taken on another job I'm now working for forever living as well... The sleepless nights caused by my credit cards and being a single mum is getting too much. I will be debt free again. Determined.

I haven't been given a number for the challenge yet, but still checking in.

My minimum CC payments are due out over the next week so I'll be updating my signature daily. I made an overpayment of £7.45 today but need to see what's left after bills come out before I pay any other extra payments.

Determined to pay the £4200 I pledged by Christmas. Only £16.15 paid so far (but it's my first payday since my LBM)

We had some great news this week, after our flatmates rather abruptly announcing they were moving out a few weeks ago we've had a crazy stressful time trying to find a new flat... it's been terrible.

Our friend from back home came to visit on Sunday and is going to move in with us! Phew!

So I don't need to save up a whole new deposit and first month's rent anymore. I'm keeping it in my account incase there's any costs arise before he moves in but hopefully I'll be able to chuck it in to my CC once it's all settled :)

Just a small one again this week until then:

    #050 £2600 / £4544 (57.2%)

    Less than £2000 to go!
Total debt at LBM = £4861.03

    DFBXmas2018 #91 - £3342 / £3500 (95.4%)

HTB ISA - £0 withdrawn for house purchase! :D
    Wedding Fund £2550 / £5000

This is my first update so hope I do it right!

    #183 £773/£3,757 20.57% paid off

Last month is the first full month I've ever kept a spending diary. What an eye opener. Even on a month when I was trying to be really good and stick to a strict budget I wasted money and went over budget, so I dread to think what I was doing before. I've tried to pay off my debt a couple of times before, and got very close last year, but this is the first time I've ever kept a spending diary and made myself accountable. Onwards and upwards!
