Made 2 big payments in the last month along with the usual small payments.

    The 1st payment was for
    £4112.50
I had challenged myself 6 years ago to clear this debt on the 27th june this year and I did it,
and the 2nd was a debt I owed
£1358 and I paid them £951 which was 70% of the debt saving myself £407

Just got internet connection here in darkest Peru...seriously, BT are NOT on my Christmas card list. Moved on 26th June and got connected today!!! I feel a rant and compensation request coming on. I'll add any pennies to my debt-busting, of course lol.

Can't find anything after our move, but working on it. Will do some calculations over the next few days and update. I've made some seriously big payments so looking forward to how that has impacted on my total :D

Caught up on everyone's news - good to see we are all still doing so well! :j

Feeling proud today, as I've been lobbying members of a certain non-league football club forum to donate and sponsor a player for the season. Goal reached this morning... wish I could keep the cash, though ;)

No other new, keep it up everyone!

    I've been Money Tipped!
Hi everyone, is it too late to join the party?

I have credit card whose 0% period ends on 21st of December this year, perfect timing for Christmas! Usually I would just balance transfer but I'm determined not to pay any more fees.

The current balance is £4293.17 with 165 days to pay it off, so approx £26.02 per day.

As I'm not incurring any interest currently on this CC, my thoughts are to sweep cash into a spare savings account and then pay it over to the CC close to the end, earning a tiny bit of interest in the savings account, and just make my usual min monthly payments by DD.

If you don't mind me being a late comer, let me know my number and I will get updating
