I paid off my overdraft years ago and got rid of it. I have just updated my account and refused the overdraft telling the bank guy if he tried to put one on I would close my account. He did look at me funny.
Yes like many people I've spoken to the bank several times over the years about EXTENDING my overdraft, not cancelling it, so it was a strange experience!Starting 2016 debt-free

Morning all
Pay day at last. Have allocated every pound of my wage on my budget and have paid off £250 from my credit card. I think I might be debt free slightly earlier than planned if I can keep going at this rate - maybe November - hope I haven't jinxed myself by writing this as my car MOT will be due in October - fingers crossed it won't need anything doing.
Have a good day everyone.:)
