    Hello everyone :)

Small extra payment and usual sofa payment went out today (slightly late due to the Bank Holiday), so updating as follows:

    #85 £6399.65/£25,000 = 25.59%.

    Hi all. Number 37 here.
All quiet on this front I'm afraid.
Going to be making the minimum payments on everything for a while (still £500 pm) as I need to save money to put towards the car in September, as the PCP deal runs out. I am going to have to take a loan to pay for some of it (it's a great car that I've thrown a lot of money into already and I don't want to get stuck in the constant vicious cycle of leasing) but I want that loan to be as small as possible, so I'm saving up towards the purchase price. I hate to have to take another loan but I really don't feel I have any choice - it's a modest reliable car that we can keep for 10 years + so I'm trying to see it as an investment rather than being defeatist about taking on the finance for an extended period. At least the debt total is still reducing! So far I've got 2k saved but quite a bit of that is earmarked for other things (fence fell down over the weekend to add to the long list of stuff!) so I'm trying hard to build up more.
My manager is having fun and games with me and not authorising my expenses in time for the next pay run (it's ok, I can live without the £190 I'm owed :mad::D), she does it to the entire team in turns, it drives us all bonkers, so I need to keep things tight this month to account for the fact I'm going to be short next month.
Hope everyone's debt busting is going well and that you all had a lovely Easter :)

I'm doing the same with my car :j it's brilliant, really economical etc it'd be silly to get rid of it.

And on that note is it payday yet!

Agreed! I'm looking forward to updating the spreadsheet with this lot. There should be an update tomorrow lunchtime, apologies for being away for the last week - you know how it can get.

I've had a few unexpected expenses this month, which is frustrating, but I need to stay on the bandwagon. I love having this thread here as my good conscience! :A

    Cheers, everyone.

    Hello
I haven't posted for ages and no matter what I do I can't seem to get new posts on this thread to come through to my phone which is a shame because last year other people's posts really motivated me so please help if anyone technical can. I set it for instant??
Any way I paid £451 off today which is big for me. One card will be paid by June. The other will be paid by October then if on target I have 4k left to pay. :rotfl:

I can only suggest checking your junk folders. Some email providers now put forum emails in their own folder, trying to be clever, so check that too!

    morning all.
it's been a while since I've posted and I don't seem to be on the first page anymore.
I havn't posted because instead of going down my debt has been going up and I just couldn't bring myself to record it.i have had to borrow from family members just to pay the bills because work has been so quiet.
The good thing now is that I have just started a new job which is full time.i just have to get through the next few months and then hopefully I can start paying my debts again
    thankyou.

Hi Greenanne! You're definitely still there, we don't perform a cull :D Make sure you're looking at the second list - the first one is for numbers 1-100, and the second is for 101-200.

Congrats on your new job btw :T
